I walked out of McDonalds the other day. I was in mid order and turned to look out the window to see someone pull up beside my E38. Heaps of parks around and this woman pulls in right beside me. So while I'm ordering I've got an eye on what she's up to. Bit-h gets out of her car and dumps her handbag, keys and cellphone on the roof of my car while she's getting her kids sorted. F--k me!!!!!!! So I storm out there and I'm yelling as I walk out the door.."Hey, my cars not a f*#king shelf for your crap, get it off my car". She looks at me like I'm crazy..lol Then has the nerve to tell me she'll "only be a minute so whats my problem"? FFS I manage to get control of my growing temper and explain that the car is "my pride and joy and I dont really want it scatched, sorry for yelling but pls remove your stuff". Her reply sent my temper over the top. "Its only a car, get over it". So I reach out and grabed her keys and cell phone and sent them flying about 30ft into the bush's on the other side of the fence. Last I heard from her was she was going to call the police.. Dunno if she did or not. I got in my car and drove through the drive thru to get my order and gave her a nice wave and smile as I drove out. She was still in the bush's with her kids looking for her keys and cell..

I actually dont mind the style of tips, but yes they do need to be recessed and staggered a bit better. Although in saying that, i was a fan of the random 80s rectangle exhausts

So my first part of the project hasn't gone according to plan. Took a set of RS4 mufflers to Pitstop in Grey Lynn. It was all looking good, everything lined up, etc but they just wouldn't quite fit, even with all the heat shielding removed they were still around 10-15mm too big. Such a shame they looked - and would have sounded - awesome. As a last ditch measure - because I was determined to lose the ugly Camaro tail pipes - I ordered a couple of staggered dual tips from Chase. Unfortunately, when I came back later the numbskull at Chase had couriered the wrong ones... And they were already welded on. The guy at Chase didn't offer any compensation for his stuff up, other than selling me the right set "at a discount"... I told him where he could put that idea. They look better than the square ones but stick out way too far as they're straight, not staggered and they're a bit narrow. At least they sound better than the square ones though but not ideal. Look okay from directly behind: But shite from anywhere else: Back to the drawing board... Most expensive tip replacement in history. Not the project start I was hoping for.

Ok. Imagine if your car was a ferrari. Or a lamborghini. Something thats bright and screams "im expensive". Would you put ur keys and bag wallet phone on the bonnet if it? No. Would that lady have done it? No. Why not? Because that person realizes that this car is a certain persons (expensive) posession. We respect other peoples property. You hardly see graffiti on a rich persons house but its much more evident around the poorer neighbourhoods. Just because a e38 7 series isnt a hundred thousand dollars (it once would have been!) doesnt mean it can just be considered public property..

^agreed, they're definitely bastards to clean and I wouldn't buy them. Although I do have a set of four 17s with almost brand new tyres I'd let go for a decent price

Time to move inside, getting too dark at night now and the rain is coming. Not that I've been doing anything on it anyway, but motivation has picked up again. Went to push it inside but the brakes have siezed up. So pushed it as far as I can (to the dirt) with the forklift, then did the rest with the bobcat. Some casualtys were had in the process lol... mainly the bumper which was f**ked anyway, tail light has seen better days and a driveshaft somehow fell out, must remember to put that back in. Annnnd all in place, ready to go in side. First time on a bobcat, such skill!
