Come on everyone, let's get behind this. Sure, it's a shame that timing clashes with the race series but the organisers had to take what was available. The BMW Club haven't put a lot of effort in to it so it's been left to a couple of people to try and put it together and it would be a massive shame if it doesn't thrive and get another chance next year when the wrinkles can be ironed out. Anyways, I'm booked and paid and looking forward to seeing a few 8s celebrating 25 years plus everything and anything that people care to bring along for a bit of fun.

We need some of the old boys club to get back into it. Priorities seem to have moved from Car's and Cruising to I have to do what I am told.

The sensors will onlyneed replacing if they have worn through enough to activate the warning light on the dash, no light means the sensors can be re-used. As above replacing the fluid is a 2 yearly job, regardless of kms.

Id managed to survive through winter on around 16-18 hours a week of work :-/ so rightly my priorities were on existence and survival... Looking good now though, plenty on so tossing up the dudmd / wokke options. Im also tentatively looking at late 90's kawasaki zx7r's.. lol!

Got told no because it doesn't have a sun roof. Haha. Still thinking about it. Would daily it though. Whats the point in a car like that if it sits in the garage.

Lol @ being worried about the $400 gst thing, I always bring things in much over that and never been stung. Ebc yellows on the e30 and they are crap on the track, fading to nothing after 3-4 laps

Judging by the sugar and fat content I'd say it's life-shortening rather than life changing.

Ok so almost 100% done. I ended up doing it myself and whilst I made a hash of it in places it has improved, quoted $2500 for a cash job to do it, I done the whole lot myself for under a grand including buying a compressor and spray gear. It's still one ugly looking bitch but even the wife said it looks a little more respectable. Wheel alignment and new chrome wheel nuts on yesterday and decals put on a few days back.
