To get the height adjustment motor off u have to use just right amount of man handle. From memory u lift it up and to the side, then pull to separate the ball jointed arm. True that you will have shards of adjuster floating around in the lense area but u can shake it all out and vacuum them.
I'm with Swann but it's classic car insurance. Includes $20K agreed cover, track day cover, OE glass cover, roadside recovery and unlimited kms. Just had to show that it is not a daily driver and is garaged. I pay $300 fully comp on a V12 but I am 40.
I have an extra set of LED bulbs to replace the old incandescent bulbs in an e39 sedan interior and boot area.
$60 pickup in AKL or $65 including postage.
A very easy 30min DIY job.
those wheels look nice but they're stupidly heavy and imo 18's look better with a decent amount of rubber on it. better handling and more comfort.
personal preferences though! do what you want its your car! but please bring it to the next meet im dying to see it in real life
If you buy those I'd change the Michelins ... he's got Sport Cup on one wheel and Sport Cup+ on another (they are COMPLETELY DIFFERENT TYRES) ... that's like mixing slicks with standard road tyres on the same axle ... Naughty!!
Well .. this must be the longest project ever ... LOL
Had time this week to actually pop into Spotlight to grab a few things ... and made some progress.
Looking good so far and the pattern seems to have worked properly as the seams all line up : )
Hey mate I have a set of expired harnesses that I can't use any more and a spare momo corsa seat if they are any use to you, will make a massive difference.
Gasket goo will not hold 2 bar pressure when the engine is running. You have a problem that you need to identify correctly and repair properly. You do not need and should not use a sealant to carry out this repair if done correctly with quality parts.
A picture might help
sweet as .. @ hampton tomorrow if you're bored.
yeah it was a bit of a fail for me today .. not because of the chassie / control arm eyeball arms being offset but because my exhaust and o2 sensors fowls up. Not a lot I can do about it as its tighter than a nun in there and no room really for anything to move. So its not a fault of the bar at all, just what you get when everything on this car has been adjusted to fit. 2 out of 3 wasn't bad
I could turn it the other way around (the low brace) however it would cause it to be the lowest point in the car ..
