There is a reason for requiring photos and prices of items for sale, it helps prevent scamming and giving the unpaid/unthanked moderators a hell of a time trying to sort out the issue despite the site not having any ability to pursue any offenders. It is not difficult to do. If you do not like the rules, go and advertise somewhere else like tardeme where there is every chance you will be ripped off/answer any amount of ridiculous questions/ not get any response from the auction winner etc etc etc. Your choice.

Hi Guys! Technically I've been on here awhile but haven't had the time to get on much while building my company. Can't say much on that matter till I close out a deal on becoming a partner through which hopefully will work out! Pretty excited about this new (To us) Z4 3.0 through. It's the colour I always wanted in the spec I always wanted so even though it's my 4th Z4 and it needs a bit of love right now I'm all over it! 3.0 with heated seats and the Tan interior. Previous owner left under a tree and didn't clean, normal high stop Z4 issue, curbed rims and some seat wear so work cut out for me but I think they should all be cheap to ok fixes and engine and gearbox feel. Already taken from Christchurch to West coast and was great fun even with the road works.

Hey mate I will check when I get home but I don't think it's that well documented (I know it has the factory bmw manual, but don't remember service stuff being in there) I have replaced the thermostat housing myself and at the same time replaced the thermostat, the original plastic one had a little crack and was leaking. As far as the other things being done I'm not sure but I'll update this thread if I find out, cheers!

^ More empirical evidence that the Goodyears are a great tyre. Trust the experts, not the forum junkies.

Last weekend with the help of a good friend we managed to drop the subframe out in preparation for the new bushes to be installed and the wheel bearing to be fixed. Those pesky hard brake lines can be a bit of a pig and managed to round of a couple of the nuts. Managed to pick up some decent second hand hard lines from HellBM (thanks Sam & Ray), and some brand new soft lines from Euro-Italian. Also purchased some new Brembo brake discs for the Touring, and will end up rebuilding the set of calipers too - as well as painting them. Not sure what colour but I'm thinking gun-metal grey. While having the driveshaft/exhaust out I thought it would be a great idea to finally fix the rear gearbox leak thinking it was the output shaft seal. Upon further inspection I found that it may not be that but the shift selector shaft seal. Photos attached... just a tad oily. Euro Italian hopefully to the rescue again. Tomorrow's mission will be putting the subframe & trailing arms back into place and connecting everything back up minus the the brake discs etc. That will hopefully be next weekend...

MTOY is back on the 18's now for a bit. While they have tread left, the tyres are a bit old and they don't handle as well as the INVOs on my CSL wheels, but that's an easy fix with replacements! Pretty keen to try a set of NT-05's given how I use this car (and how few km's I got out of the INVO's I might as well!). Always keen on suggestions? Current tyres and sizes below Front 245/40/18 Michelin Pilot Sport (factory sizing 225/45/18) Rear 265/35/18 Goodyear Eagle F1 (factory sizing 255/40/18). IMG_6752-HDR by Christian Taylor, on Flickr I could even step the rears up a little in width to 275's and maybe 40 profile to get the same 'chunky' look as on the fronts. I'm a big fan of more tyre where possible, and the fronts look spot on imo. I should have the room in the rear arches for this, even under load and want to avoid spacers if at all possible. Replacement fender grille and badge also turned up - in it goes Fronts by Christian Taylor, on Flickr

Lol, will be worth the extra effort to make it fit then AFAIK it can be done with OEM parts, but the trick is finding the ruddy things - eBay will certainly make it easier. More details on the M62 please - I heard a rumour a little while back one was being built in the 07 but never really had it confirmed

Thanks for putting up the pics as requested. As per the forum rules, and as will said, it helps in a number of ways. Not least of which it helps to generate interest in what you are selling, a picture is worth a thousand words as they say. Is it a rusty hunk of junk with oil leaks or a well looked after and maintained part? The fact that the OP had just such photos and put them up shows they understand this. A manual conversion, hmm what part number is that then? What is included, every single last nut bolt and washer? Or just the major parts? Are the parts all "correct" or have they been "modified"? Has anything been damaged during removal? And so on... And Arron since you want to bring it up again, your post was deleted as rather than doing what was asked and fix it you wanted to be clever and argue about it. SRacin, sorry for all this in your For Sale thread, I can delete it all out if you would like.
