Managed the "grand slam" over the week-end, got to drive all of my Bimmers, a very rare feat as they are hardly ever all running / legal at the same time. F30 company car - poodling about town, etc. Took the wife's E46 wagon to tow the E30 race car to Hampton Downs and back, then pulled the E30 'vert out of the garage to blow the cobwebs out as it was such a nice day on Sunday. Overall quite happy, a few little niggles to look at, but nothing too major.

Hey all, Time to sell my 330ci $8250 Hesitant sale Owned for over 2 years, sadly its time for something different and this will need to go. Brand new 12 month WOF, flew through Brand new 12 month rego Just had oil and filter change with Castrol edge 5w 30 and genuine BMW filter Fresh alignment and balance 115,000kms 230hp Vehicle has a Japanese ARQRAY exhaust (catback I believe), not much louder than standard but sounds great, nice and quiet around town. Full M Sport extras - Wheels, seats, suspension, body kit, M trims, etc Professional 35% window tint from FM7 K&N filter in factory box Pioneer headunit with aux/usb, nice speaker set up, assume factory. Car is tidy for its age, few minor car park marks on bumpers when up close and small wear on drivers seat bolster, otherwise great.

As per the "wanted to buy" thread; I picked up a 330i Touring in Akl. Drove it back yesterday - seems pretty good; NZ new, 170kms, reasonable service history. No fault codes showing. Spec wise it's low on fruit - but everything works and is in reasonable condition. First point of business is to address a very slightly and occasionally wobbly rear - possibly a buggered bush... but first off will get a wheel alignment done. Following that; a second key (any suggestions on sourcing appreciated)... and then I may look at adding a bluetooth module - though I'm not sure I'll even bother. We'll see... may also do something about the tyres - it's got Michelin Pilots on the back which are 2/3rds worn, and bingbonglingdings on the front which are barely worn (wish it was the other way around). As a DD it'll certainly do the job, and make the daily schlep over SH58 much more enjoyable than it was in the Euro!

Either scattered, or not in a recoverable condition. It had a particularly bad night.

I'vehad a bit of a play with most of it except NCS Expert - I'm working my way up to being brave enough to use everything that came with the BCables DVDs. INPA is good for starters, and I found Navcoder great for programming my LCM (although there is a (reasonable) extra charge to activate that particular app so it can write as well as read). Googling will get you most of the info you need, and then it's a matter of carefully building up your experience. @Olaf or anyone in the greater Wellington area - I'd be happy to demonstrate for you if you happen to be passing thru Otaki. My wife makes awesome coffee. I can't come to you because it's installed on a desktop & I stick the cable out thru the spare room window

Mine [blue cable with adaptor] works on 64 bit windows 10, I have the silver cable as well for later cars. I also have the ADS interface but this is more for programming, not for diagnostics. The blue cable setup works on all cars up to 2007. Silver cable overlaps and does up to 2010 and beyond depending on model. The cable kit comes with a host of programs on disc. Basically a one-click install for each. Includes INPA, NCS Progman, SSS.. This link shows what comes with the cable.. Software.

Seen them on an E60 at a cars and coffee event. I will be honest. They looked tacky. The guy had all sorts of other crazy light mods going on too though. Many replacement headlights are not legal in NZ. But older styles that have a left and right hand drive difference.

I'll contribute what I can as long and the admins are okay with it. Back in the day some forums had issues with discussing specific software, not so much now it seems.

I got a second key from Schmiedmann for 140 euro plus shipping. All official and kosher.

You'll notice both those vehicles have added reflectors on the rear panel, you can use these lights as long as you put reflectors on the rear of the vehicles as the factory lights already have a reflector in them. Have just been through this process with the cert guy.

Have removed it all fine, no sweat. Still having trouble finding an appropriate bluetooth module. Front airdam fitted and going orange.... should drop another 60 to 70 mm with the engine in.
