Tackled the valve cover gasket today, after seeing oil on my spark plug threads a few weeks back when I changed those. Also noticed some oil leaking on the exhaust heat shield, creating a nice burning smell... Went very smoothly, being the most 'invasive' job I've done under the hood of a car to date (newbie to this stuff) and the old gasket was very hard and brittle, especially around the plug seals. Got the BMW gasket from FCP euro with the 15 fastner seals as well and torqued in a star pattern to 10nm.

Got myself a little present. She's kind of little. 2012 m135i, 55000km, full Alcantara interior etc. This thing sure is fun! Very tidy overall. Loving it so far. Will post some better photos later. Got 4yrs mechanical warranty on it

BMW doesn't make them. So I have no idea where to start. Mowing 3500m2 of pasture. Anyone on here spend some weekend time cruising the paddocks? Ton of second hand stuff out there. Which would be preferable. Rather spend the real money on the garage and a hoist I am continuously reminded that I'm not allowed.

Anyone in the area able to have a look at a project for me?

Yeah, it works pretty well. I use the smaller enclosed garage as my workshop for want of a better term. It’s an older building so I plan to lay carpet ties and line it at some point to tidy it up. That’s the dream at least!

Fusso King of Gloss. It's definitely very glossy, goes on easily. Need to put on thinly as it dries hard and white, gets cakey if thick. Leaves quite a bit of dust buffing off... But it's definitely easy and very glossy

No quite - I wish it was that cool. It’s a single garage to the right with a large double carport on the front. With the door fitted to the left it basically seals off the whole front of the property with our hedges. I believe that a lesser or different consent applies to a carport so it would have been an easier conversion at the time.

Had the front windows tinted to more closely match the rears. Still a little lighter but much better.

I had some correspondence with a guy in the US who used the inserts and he had them in for a couple of years and was happy. I have not read any negative reviews of them. plus they can be fitted at home.

To me it seems well overpriced for what it offers. I had the pleasure of driving a 125i and a 330i just recently as part of the search for a new car for my wife. In isolation they were both very nice cars to drive and felt sprightly, certainly enough for my wife and the 125i was on Bilsteins and h&r springs so handled very nicely. I would have bought it it weren't for the no existent service history. Getting back into my 335i it made me realise that the power gap is pretty big, If I'm going sporty I want the power to back up the looks.

Yeh 194s, I run 225s all round, little bit of stretch as the rears are a wider rim. There's not a huge amount of clearance on the rears so not keen to run anything wider without some mods. Maybe they come in different offsets or something if @qube has 255s running without clearance issues.

You can upload the logs through the mhd app to datazap, which is an awesome free site for reviewing your logs. The logging module is well worth it.
