I would say this is good buying at that price, assuming it is as described. BMW only made 222 of these in rhd so its an opportunity that may not come along again for quite some time, and it is not beyond saving ( get rid of that terrible looking towbar and replace the front bumper) Yes it is more expensive than a sedan, it should be, it is a lot rarer, and yes you could get other arguably better cars for the money, but what you can't get is another naturally aspirated 500hp V10 rear wheel drive station wagon!!

I have one on mine, its from a wrecked E60 and bolts straight on, its the Westfalia detachable type and the polystyrene foam inlay in the boot has a slot for the tongue so I assume its meant to have a towbar!! It tows fine if you use manual mode, mine burnt up a bit of clutch but it was moving away from a stop up a steep driveway with a 1.8 tonne digger behind it, its absolutely fine with my small trailer with half cubic metre of builders mix in it.

Hi everyone, does anyone have one of these auxilary pumps for sale for a reasonable price please?

@leichtbauThat is definitely a compromise with the fixed back seats. I will be running brey krause brackets (when they eventually arrive!!) on factory manual sliders so they can slide all the way forward and have much better travel than most aftermarket sliders. This means the backseats are 'accessible' but pretty much emergency only. Getting into the back will be made more difficult by the seatbelt routing with the PP's as well. The rear seats will remain in my car, even if only for looks. Once all the mtexture bits are in I think the rear seats look really good, hopefully those are the first thing to be done post lockdown. There are other options like the Cobra Nogaro which doesn't have a cutout for the seatbelt and a lower cut thigh bolster (much like the CSL seats). The nogaros are arguably a better street seat but tbh I just prefer the shape of the recaros and I think they look a bit more OEM. The CSL does have a tilt mechanism, but from what I have heard it doesn't make all that much of a difference. IIRC, the CSL seats are a modified pole position but in reality they are a totally different design with only the very basic shape carried over. The ultimate seat for me would be a CSL seat trimmed up how I want it but considering Tom's set is for sale for $25k it's probably a no go... In the end I opted for the recaros even given the compromises. I have never found the reclinable seats like the recaro sportsters very comfortable or supportive and the cost difference is pretty huge. I also essentially never take more than one passenger in the m3. And I chose them over the nogaros because they look better and a bit more OEM. My understanding is the stock recaro PP was what was used in the strassenversion GTR M3's, or at least that's what I'll tell myself every time I have to squeeze past them into the backseat.

there is a 13k bill from the main dealer so either SMG clutch or bearings. i'm moderately interested but tripling the fuel bill might be a stretch. depreciation would be less though

Awesome work Harper, loving what you are doing !! I own the LSB M3 with Mtex interior, do have any of the material ,or know where I can get some, dont need it right now, but would be great to have some spare?? The drivers seat base wears quite badly!!

Hi guys, I'm after the front bumper for a FL coupe, just the black plastic thing, not the metal valence behind it.

Things are out of control since lockdown, drove past my daughter's school on the way to the grocery shop today only to find the remains of countless tyres and a torn up intersection. It's just nuts that had KillerX actually belted some P fueled thief he would be in the wrong and be dragged through the courts. CCTV for the win.

If its not rusty you should jump on that as a quick easy project to get back on the road. Looking at the state of it, it needs someone to save it from its current owner.

Cheers. Thanks, already have a "CCTV in operation" sign and two cameras at the top of the driveway gate. I think at the moment 105 is getting a hammering so there are delays. The last time I called 105 I felt very much like I was calling a offshore call centre, it was also just after they had launched 105 and I'm sure that it's better now. With any luck I won't need to call and the cops will take care of this via the online report I filed. Thanks, I have a pile of cameras that I installed all over the property. Mainly as I used to travel overseas (those days a gone....) regularly for work and wanted some peace of mind. But I will be installing another camera at the gate that covers the road. And before anyone gets all offended by the idea of CCTV covering the road in front of my house, I spoke with the local cops about a year ago after someone decided to repeatedly over a few nights do burnouts up our street - first thing they asked was "do you or any of your neighbors have CCTV aimed at the road"? I asked them about the legality of that and was basically told that unless one of my neighbors complains about it then the cops are totally onboard with it. A minor pandemic and life got in the way of me installing the camera that I bought specifically for that job.

Thanks Alan for the response Ireland Engineering is probably one of the few places i haven't contact in awhile, i was focusing on places in the US and Some in Aussie only cause i have friends there so shipping can sometimes be easy (well not anymore haha) Its strange as i was trying to keep the car pretty stock but as my power levels grew and new technology has come its hard to now not by those little extras. I previous had the 540/750 brake setup the biggest you can fit under the stock 15" rims was a good setup until i sold it to another member on here who moved back to the UK (think it was) Your engine swap sounds like some good fun and probably more reliable , good luck with the cert (also good to know the are eventually going to QR code or similar so no stupid plates and it can updated without having to get plate updated) its meant to lower overall cost which i think is good as LVV Certs is a painful process (for me my local vtnz doesn't like me or my cars) Have a good week and hopefully in the future some updates from both of us

I live in a small cul de sac [50-70 houses] in West Auckland. We have had at least 1 car stolen/attempted theft/vandalism/dumped stolen cars every night since we got locked down. Had to chase lowlifes with my baseball bat last Thursday. They were trying to steal sons car. Cops got them other side of the reserve ,one of the pricks ended up with a few dog bites 😉 . Only saw them because i had put up 4k security cameras a week before lockdown.
