Hey everyone, My name's Fraz, I'm from Victoria, Australia. I bought my 1985 323i just before covid hit. I knew nothing about cars, but since owning it I have learnt so much. I used the E30 as my daily for a couple months but recently it has been a weekend car. I'm currently working on swapping an M54B30 into it, recently I finished preparing the engine and mocked it up in the engine bay for the first time and I am beyond excited. Still a ways to go but I cannot wait to hear this thing fire up for the first time and eventually go for my first drive. I am actually travelling to NZ with my partner in July so if anyone knows of any car shows on the south island in early July let me know, I'd love to experience a bit of the New Zealand car culture! Don't get hung up on coupe. Sedan is the better car. Stiffer chassis, easy rear seat access. Frames on the windows!

Took out the gap with H&R Springs & BMS Wheel Spacers.

This is pretty bloody good!

There's some general disappointment amongst G87 fans with this CS, >US$100k, no different bonnet, not even in CF, no CF front lip etc, no yellow DRL's etc. Basically an incremental upgrade at enormous cost, very unlike the F87 CS.

240,200km Just returned from a school holiday trip down to Nelson. Ticked over 240k on the way and averaged around 10L/100km although it's not exactly a huge amount of km's from Wellington to Nelson but a nice open road drive with some hills and some twisties. Had terrible weather on the way down but lovely on the way home.

Stumbled across this today.. NZ new too..
