My old Muffler has been rattling and getting tinnier and hollower for quite a many months now and appears to be a bust baffle in the muffler. Ordered a custom AdrenalinR muffler (great experience) and will be getting a new twin section made from the resonators back. Cant wait to get the old girl a fresh new soundtrack and replace the ridiculous 3.5” Remus square tips with something modest but purposeful 🤔

    (1) No, I don't. Because restaurants don't allow it. Do a lot of workshops? Yes. I was simply asking if anyone knew of a BMW Indy that DOES allow it. Nothing more, nothing less. (2) I very rarely supply the wrong part. Why? Because it's called research, verify, enquire then purchase. Do the job right the first time, there is no second time. (3) I've had labour only at plenty of dealerships and Indy workshops fitting parts I supplied. Just never a BMW dealership or Indy. Hence my question. Please, don't overthink it.

Couple of updates: 1: The wheels arrived today 🎉 Mandatory photo, although we all already know what ARC8's look like 🙃 2: The male MAF sensor connectors arrived. I don't actually have need of these for myself, but I finally came across them and thought I'd order some to confirm they're a match and if so share the details with everyone as saves having to pay Turner money for their relocation harnesses. These things appear to be the exact same item Turner are using and they come with the pins and seals. I ordered 5 of these for the princely sum of $9.58USD total including shipping. per-unit price is $1.24USD. You can purchase your own (you can order singles) here: https://www.hdconnectorstore.com/productdetail/32496.html

there's a place for REPCO in the world. Who's open and providing quite possibly the only thing standing between you and getting your daily off jack stands on Sunday night to drive to work in the morning? They're certainly not my first choice, though I do appreciate that they're there when we need em. Edit: Not to mention they're often open on public holidays. Not to be overlooked or underestimated.

As well as physically changing the lights (aka the easy bit) there will be a host of programming and / or electrical changes also required (aka the hard bit). More details on the lights before and after the changes would help a lot.

Can of worms to be honest Olaf, even changing from halogen to xenon, or xenon to LED with genuine BMW parts is a total nightmare. To know if it were worth the effort one would first need to confirm whether the lights themselves are compatible at all with the Front Electronic (footwell) Module... even getting an authoritative response to that question might be difficult.

Price seems realistic though - or maybe I have just been conditioned 😂

Hey everyone, My name's Fraz, I'm from Victoria, Australia. I bought my 1985 323i just before covid hit. I knew nothing about cars, but since owning it I have learnt so much. I used the E30 as my daily for a couple months but recently it has been a weekend car. I'm currently working on swapping an M54B30 into it, recently I finished preparing the engine and mocked it up in the engine bay for the first time and I am beyond excited. Still a ways to go but I cannot wait to hear this thing fire up for the first time and eventually go for my first drive. I am actually travelling to NZ with my partner in July so if anyone knows of any car shows on the south island in early July let me know, I'd love to experience a bit of the New Zealand car culture! Cheers, Fraz

Have you tried replacing the horn relay? If it is going off all the time at random and that is not being caused by the horn button/steering wheel part of the circuit then it could be a faulty relay. You can test the relay or see if there is similar one you can swap it with to test.

For starters the 3rd photo shows a missing torx screw on the LHS, don't know where that is gone, are you sure there is nothing stuck on the in between the horn plate? Failing id re-seat all the connections and the ground, then there should be a connector under the lower steering wheel shroud the goes to the clock spring, if you disconnect that and it stops then its clock spring, wheel or wiring issue in the steering wheel area.
