E36 wide body kit arrived today. after 4 months of waiting I saved about 76kgs over standard bare body parts.( No glass , door latches, locks ) . Biggest problem was getting it over the customs line and the TAX that DHL charge.

In road cars people hardwire relays to fuel pumps so they are switched on and off manually, so when the engine stalls or is just set to 'on' the fuel pump is still flowing. Potentially dangerous if a crash occurs and fuel is leaking pumping all over the place. Simple solution is an oil pressure sensing relay setup or tacho signal relay. But oh no, apparently it's a cool mod to bypass any factory fuel pump control for a dangerous constant 12v setup.

You're pretty much ruining the car doing that, nobody will want to buy an LPG X5... If you want more economy you should get a different car. X5 is not the right choice at all for an economical town car....

sell it and buy a diesel one , lpg tank will tank up heaps of room . I don't think any one really bothers with lpg on these modern engines etc

Selling coffee at bp is the worst thing to happen ever. I dont give a fukk about coffee , but it grinds my gears when i wanna get gas and there is 2-3 attendants making coffee and no one to be seen serving the till for gas. Stand around waiting for kents to finish making coffee before theyll take my gas money.

Especially the black ones, they actually go really well, if your a single occupant with no luggage... 5 people and bags and they handle like a brickies wheelbarrow, but slower.

Buuuut... Hyundai! Although if you squint at an early one, they do kinda look like a 1-series BMW from the back...

Hmm, I had a flat battery this morning... maybe just a coincidence, but perhaps there was a reason for the previous owner removing the fuse for the auto-dimming mirror - I'll have to keep an eye on this.

Today after work I decided to check the water hoses on the engine and look for way to hook up the expansion tank. The hose from the back of the head was the first to come off and to my surprise found this inside, have no idea how it got there. Then gave the rest the squeeze test had a fail so have decided to replace the lot.
