  1. No Andy, I haven't gone over
  2. Have decided to sell the whole thing, rolling, less motor, loom and ecu etc, basically I'll strip the engine bay, but will leave whatever's needed for the cruise control. Car has cruise control, OBC, electric sunroof, long range tank, 3.64 med case diff, auto, on steelies, and rust. Will remove the motor next weekend, ready to go after that. PM me.
  3. Have just picked up a Sth African 320 with OBC, cruise control, elec sun roof, long range tank, full check panel etc, was white with a light interior, all seem in good cond, need a clean, but no tears or rips. Has good auto as well. I'm only keeping the motor, anyone interested in any bits? Body's shot, rusty as. Pm me if interested.
  4. I'm not surprised at the insurance value, about where I would have put it. You should be able to replace the 3 bits for about $500 with good parts. Good luck.
  5. Not worth anything if it's a E30 series car, just send it to me and I'll swap you for a 4.1 diff for the series
  6. Sure is, every time I go there, it screws up.
  7. Is the viscous fan in the 318 and the 320 the same? Cheers.
  8. Anyone else seen this, wheels look to be 3 piece baskets, probably worth more than the car? http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=105763414
  9. I had a black one on my black car and didn't like it, you lost all definition, the front looked bland. If you ask me you should go yellow. Bzzzzzzzzzz
  10. 10 thou cold, 12 thou hot according to Bentley.
  11. Same discs as 318? Got some you can have.
  12. Just get them skimmed Ollie, remember it's only a 320, I still use drums and they're fine.
  13. latest pics, at least it looks good.
  14. You're thinking auto, this is manual.
  15. From the last 2 pics it looks more like engine oil than gearbox, looks like it's coming out from the bellhousing where it fits to the engine? If so, it could be the seal at the back of the crank or the input seal in the front of the box. Either way, not likely to be a gasket there sorry, means you need to drop the box, and find which end it's coming from. Both seals are easy to change with the box out anyway. Good Luck. First link shows crank seal part 6. Second link shows gearbox seal, part 9. I know it's a 240 box, I think the 260's similar on the front? http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?mo...hg=11&fg=10 http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?mo...hg=23&fg=15
  16. Hi, should just slip back in, 2 x m6x10 bolts needed. see on this page. http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?mo...hg=33&fg=10
  17. Who is he, haven't heard of anyone around here with that name.
  18. The guy that bught this is a forum member, Alex from Carspot, one of the sponsors. As a car salesman, I bet he's getting it for $10100, and he'll be paying the finance co. He always said he was after one for a race car, looks like he found it?
  19. Wouldn't you love to race there?
  20. Seems to be all the larger topics are out at the moment?
  21. Can't seem to open some of the larger topics on the General race series bit, seem to be topics with a lot of replies, something about fatal error, allowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted? Is it just me, or a site problem? Cheers.
  22. Is this the basis for your open class car Alex, or just another toy?
