Could you bypass the relay by placing a switch in the cabin for the 30/87 bridge?
-
About bloody time....... Be great to see you back on the track Andrew.
-
I see it's reged as an 1988 B10 535 tho?
-
There was a manual the same, Alpina B10, at Pukekohe today for the same money. I know which I'd rather have.

If you read the add, the plate is for sale.. call him and find out?
-
According to the add, he's selling sep e30 personalised plate 'E DIRTY'

No to the stiffening, apart from the cage, which does a pretty good job anyway. As far as the weight goes, remove as much as possible without cutting anything. Sound deadening, excess wiring etc, adds up.

If it's the white one with all the vinyl on it, it's the Race Series Safety pace car. It is very nice. You can see it at the track this weekend.
-
I wouldn't call yours a pro smoking comment Brian, more like just an admission that you do?
-
Notice how all the ones putting up pro smoking comments are in their teens and mid twenties?
-
Yeah, it will be, there are no tourings racing here yet, but there have been a few in the English series.
-
You need to start a project thread and post pics as you go Ray. Might raise some interest etc?
-
Sorry for the hijack, but you can't say this and leave it there Ray?When, what motor etc?
-
Only if it's better than what you've got, might be quite an expensive way just to get a few second hand goodies?
-
From what I've seen of it, I'd suggest it's future lies on the track if anywhere, would cost a fair bit to get back to road worthy?

Sorry Eddy, can't agree with this statement at all. Since when do people make informed decisions about smoking? When I started it was a peer thing, looking cool, felt good. Now I listen to my wife's mother coughing and in continual pain, and dying from cancer, and probably won't see Xmas, and gotta say, smoking ain't fine. Quit if you can, don't start if you haven't already. Rant over.
-
Quit 5 or so years ago, cold turkey, best thing I ever did, means I can race my E30. Save $80 or so a week in smokes, and another $150 a month on insurance premiums, about $6000 a year, worth doing. Smoked for 30 odd years before then tho. I guess the best bit is getting up in the mornings and not coughing and spitting till the first ones been puffed on. Dirty filthy habit, and yes, reformed smokers are the worst critics, I guess we're all a little jealous still.

Hi, check out this web site, http://www.bmwraceseries.co.nz It will take you to the BMW race series site, your car will qualify to race in the open class, provided you keep it BMW powered. It's a load of fun, and a great bunch of guys, will make you feel welcome. If I remember rightly, there are some based in Tauranga already.

You talking about the bimmersport banner on their advertising?
