The add's not clear Glenn, but the car he's selling is the BMW 520 Blue 1984 cloth trim 329462 km not going suit parts manual.

google e30 m30 conversion, lots out there, even in good old NZ. -
I like, not too much, very well done. Even don't mind the wheels, good on ya.

that should suggest it's not the clutch, seems like master or slave cyls may be bypassing and need replacing or rekitting. That would be lucky as it's easier.

Google it, plenty of info out there. hanger bearing will be the same, the front half of the drive shaft is different. As yours is an 89, make sure your box is from a M20 engine and you'll be ok. Pedals are fairly easy, auto inhibitor switch needs to be shorted out. As above, the hole for the master cylinder is there, just needs to be punched out, the captive nuts are also on your auto pedalbox already for the master cyl. Allow yourself a couple of days if you're doing it on stands, but can be done much quicker if you know what you're doing. You're too quick Alex.

As Bruce says, simple motor, ticking will be lifters, rough start etc may indicate worn cam as well if it's done a few K's. Probably needs a good service, best to get it looked at if you don't know motors.

Glad to see everyone's ok Tony, gives a new meaning to getting taken from behind eh. Not surprised she's a little sore, could've been a lot worse tho.

Does it include the connection to the steering arm with the universal etc?

Gotta luv a tryer I guess, http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/C...n-182459421.htm I've lost count of the number of aliases this guy's had.

Yeah, Marty's doing a new one now, and sold one to Rob on the shore who's putting it in an E30 I believe. Also one for sale on the Bmw car club site here, http://www.bmwclub.co.nz/market-place/540.html Mike Delmont's selling it, the guy who runs the 2002 turbo in the race series.

Looks very much like a M30 3.5.

Great news Andrew, looking forward to racing with you in the open class, should be the debut meet for the E28.

If you want bling factor go for the cheapest after market, they'll do you fine. If you want race disks, stick with standard rotors, we use them in the race series, and some of the guys stand on them very hard and we have no problems stopping. Most of the drivers use standard Bmw rotors and I can't remember any problems with warping or heat, we're still on one original set that's in it's second season, and they're the ones that came on the car, ready to go now tho. Pads tho are a different story, a better way of stopping quicker if you ask me is to use good race pads.

Play it again Sam, the last number does not compute. Lotto stops at 40.

C'mon now children, you're all missing the point here, The current financial trouble we're in is caused by man's natural greed. No amount of government intervention can change this, and it is a known natural fact. All things in this world of ours go in cycles, not the kind you ride either. We just happen to be going thru a rather abrupt corrective one at the moment which is taking things back to where they probably should be anyway. With regard to our benefit based society, IMHO it is basically sound, but open to abuse from those who wish to rip off the rest of us, again greed is a motive. As far as political choice goes, I doubt Labour and National have ever been closer on policy matters than at the present time? I guess if Helen actually trusted anyone other than herself, and was able to come across as a leader, and had a party that wasn't full of lapdogs, I may even have considered voting for her? But you know what, at the end of the day, I actually don't like her, no matter that she may be a very good politician, I just plain don't like the woman. By the way, my mother worked when I was young, and don't anyone dare say I was neglected. It's not working mothers who are causing the problems in our society, in one word, it's lack of respect. Just for you Marty.

No cert required for the mods we do for the race series, Authority card covers the cage, belts and braided brake lines. You should have no trouble getting wof.
