    ALL YOU E34 GUYS

Why not get the LSD centre fitted to a medium case E30 diff. Thats what I've done. I can sell you a complete medium case E30 diff with 3.64:1 ratio crownwheel and pinion $250
  2. Ring Nick or Mel @ Spare parts. BM Workshop Grey Lynn Ph. 3761250. They will be able to do the gasket & filter and should be able to supply you the oil as well. You will need between 4-5 litres...depends on how long you let it drain for after taking the filter off. I would suggest draining it for at least half an hour after removing the pan & filter. This allows the torque convertor and valve body to drain. You wont get all the oil out. But thats the best you can do.
  3. Got my LSD diff back yesterday and fitted it in the afternoon. Cost $912 to install LSD and the new ratio (3.15:1) crown wheel & pinion with all new bearings. Fitted the gearchange support bracket as well. Start reassembling the interior today after refitting the heater matrix. Flywheel should be here next week... more to come

    Convert it?

I paid more for mine....and its still costing a lot more to do it properly. Check my Manual conversion thread in projects. Yes...I know yours is an E30..however, things can get out of control if your going to do it properly
  5. "Rings" are cheap though Dave
  6. All good then...hope it wasnt too painful
  7. It has, check opening thread
  8. Thanks guys...I really appreciate your help. I think I'll stick with the black diffuser though, now that I've been able to see it colour coded. Once again... thanks alot

    Throttle Bodies

Someone on here did a custom job using Nissan throttle bodies from memory
  11. Thats probably why it was done. Because it isnt badged 318Ti. Might have been done in japan though. Mine also came out with the factory with M3 mirrors.
  12. The car came out of the factory with //M on it. Look at the Mtech door mouldings.. //M. It also has genuine schnitzer wheels
  13. I think thats what I'll do now. Which is what I was going to do in the first place. Just wanted to through it into the arena, thats all. Im still going to do the twin square tipped exhaust though Thanks everyone
  14. Ive done it theres a bit to be done though... Check out my conversion docs and my showroom thread on my TI
  15. No I dont BTW: Thanks for doing this
  16. I think to now. Would like to see what it looks like before I do it though.....anyone?

    Convert it?

$1,000 is still a good price for a complete kit though
  19. It is a factory Mtech car though
  20. Is the shake through the steering ?? If not...it could be the lock up clutch in the torque convertor. Try it in sports and see if it goes away...or bring it over and let me have a drive... ring me first though...I'm at work now

    Convert it?

Have you tried Ray @ HELL BM ??
  22. I also have got a couple if anyone wants them...just didnt want to come out and say it
  23. As you all know I'm doing a manual conversion, light flywheel & LSD in the projects thread. I also want to tidy up the rear of the car. I'm going to change the rear exhaust, get rid of the 2 into one rear muffler and install a twin tip rear muffler and get the diffuser altered by Bumper Services. Just wondering what peoples thoughts would be about badging. I was thinking of getting rid of the Schnitzer badge, putting a new ///M badge on the left and fitting an E46 328Ci badge with a TI on the end of it instead of the Ci ? Maybe colour code the diffuser as well ? I dont have photo shop, so I've got a picture if anyone wants to have a play with it PLEASE BE NICE.... I know its a "little girls car" BTW: The roundel has already been replaced with a proper BMW one. This is an old picture, the car is lower in the rear now.
  24. The bin is the place for it. I didnt actually want to say that before and upset you
