This is absolutely amazing! Ever wondered what they did with all those school photos you had to sit for each term? Well, I couldn't believe it - this Website is absolutely brilliant. They actually have photographs of almost every school in the world, dating back to the year dot! Unless you went to school when cameras weren't invented, then you will probably be able to find a photo of yourself - or at least your classmates. Click on the link below or type it into your search line. You have to enter the name of your school and Year that you were there. Check it out..... http://www.worldschoolphotographs.com/wsp/index1.htm

The spigot bearing goes into the spacer and the starter bolts to the bell housing you are going to use. If the engine carries the starter on the block, that has to be modified so that the starter mounting gets incorporated with the adaptor. The spacer wont weigh much, any concerns there, just lighten the flywheel
-
When you get the adaptor plate made you also need to get a spacer made to go between the crankshaft & flywheel. You make this the same thickness as the adaptor plate and use longer flywheel bolts. It has to be made very accurately though, and then you only have to use the clutch for the apropriate gearbox. I did this years ago when I put a 308 in a Toyota crown. I think the adaptor plate in the picture looks a bit "Rangi". If you get one made up, get it milled properly so it looks the part and remove all the excess material (weight)

When you have finally made up your mind on what engine/gearbox configeration you are going to use. Don't use the OEM clutch assembly. Have a look at the UUC alloy flywheel/clutch kits. That's what I'm going to use in my TI when I convert it to manual and LSD. We have fitted these and it makes a huge difference http://www.uucmotorwerks.com/html_techtip/...check_valve.htm http://www.uucmotorwerks.com/ Approx $1,500 landed

With the overheat...I would also replace the thermostat, check hoses, radiator etc. And on this model...change the heater inlet hose that comes off the back of the head. They are prone to bursting.

Greg...its not like suicide bombing is an occupation. Most Arab & Muslim people dont condone these radical type people.

Two Middle East mothers are sitting in a cafe chatting over a plate of tabouli and a pint of goat's milk. The older of the mothers pulls a bag out of her purse and starts flipping through photos. And they start reminiscing. ' This is my oldest son Mohammed. He would be 24 years old now. ' ' Yes, I remember him as a baby ' says the other mother cheerfully. ' He ' s a martyr now though ' mum confides. ' Oh, so sad dear ' says the other. ' And this is my second son Kalid. He would be 21 ' ' Oh, I remember him, ' says the other happily, ' he had such curly hair when he was born. ' ' He ' s a martyr too ' says mum quietly. ' Oh, gracious me ... ' Says the other. ' And this is my third son. My baby. My beautiful Ahmed. He would be 18, she whispers. ' ' Yes ' says the friend enthusiastically, ' I remember when he first started school ' ' He ' s a martyr also, ' says mum, with tears in her eyes. After a pause and a deep sigh, the second Muslim mother looks wistfully at the photographs and says... > > > > ' They blow up so fast, don't they?

Probably the same problem. But you cant see it on a service. The fan you can check. But thermostat and waterpump would have to be removed and checked. For god sake...dont drive it anymore....get it sorted

Sam... if you are serious about doing a conversion. Easiest and less costly is going to be a M52B28 Manual. You will still need deep pockets though. And you wont have to buy a link to run it. Factory DME with engine wiring loom. I've already researched this and was going to do this with the E30 Coupe I have for sale. It's basically the same as doing a M50 conversion, but using the later model motor. A M52B28 is going to give you more than enough grunt with reliability
