I can now see one of your problems in the picture you posted in another thread. You are blowing through the air mass sensor (wrong) The turbulence set up by the reduction in pipe size before the sensor wont help either. It should be installed on the compressor intake of your turbo.

Your better off getting a professional to do it.....less heart ache The head units on the racks can give various problems

E36 rack into an E30 is not a straight forward job. Theres quite a bit to do. I read about it on another forum. It involves modifying the steering shaft.

You must be using the wrong size socket... I take it you are trying to do this on your E39 535 ??

Is it the socket or the spark plug you are having problems with ? If its the socket, youve used the wrong size socket... you should use a magnetic 16mm for your spark plugs. To get the socket out, put a little supper glue on the tip of the extension, give it time to set and gently remove it while turning it slowly
