  1. The small cut aways go to the handbrake cable actuator and the larger cut aways go to the adjuster, which must be backed off to allow the rotor to fit. Then you back off the handbrake cables, adjust the handbrake shoes, then the handbrake cables. What are you actually doing ??? replacing the shoes or something else ??

  4. A good steam clean should get most of it out and then once you get the motor running use a good radiator flush to get residue out of the heater matrix and places you havent been able to clean properly. We use a special product from PDC Direct Ph. 021892179 or 0800100544 Its a special engine de-oiler thats not sold retail. Radiator repairers use this product Works a treat...used it several times..... Audi's blowing oil coolers Do it twice before you do the final fill with a good antifreeze..we use genuine BMW.. its only $15 a bottle (1.5 Litres) you will need 2 bottles.

I totaly agree with you, many car dealers have been caught out with these. I know of 2 Jap imports that have cost more that $10,000 to get systems to function. BMW dealers now get owners to sign disclaimants when getting hardware and software upgrades, for both NZ new and imports. Personally I wouldnt own one. They are loverly to drive...but very expensive to maintain. Modules & software can really only be replaced by dealers now to get warranty on the modules or software. Its all done online with each module being coded and registered with a BMW signature.
  11. Shelly's work is absolutely awesome... she did the graphics on my car and has just completed doing our plinth signage work on the road frontage outside our workshop. Absolutely a terrific job and is already attracting people to the workshop. She did the plinth on Saturday and yesterday we got 4 inquiries from people who saw our sign. I'll post up a picture later today. Great work Shelly Glenn .... a very happy customer BTW..Ollie did our website too.... another awesome job
