ETK gives me different numbers. Give me the chassis number of the car you want them for and I'll give you the correct part # They also differ on the sedan if it is fitted with the aerodynamic package

I wish someone had warned me about this a week ago

I'd really need to check it myself. He may also had it in sports mode which will give you engine braking as you slow down -

The closest place that I would recommend would be the BM Workshop in Grey Lynn. Or we could do it... but we're out East in Botany -

I would love to see that too. Would be even better if it wouldn't allow the post to proceed unless the spelling was correct.
-
Post the Bosch number of your old one if you want to get the right one Nathan

Wiring has never been one of the skills you have excelled in though Andrew When I wrote AC I was meaning Accessory. Not AC as in Air Con. Violet wires in the BMW are switched in the AC/ACC (accessory position)
-
Jochen... I meant hard wiring a nav cord into the violet... not the cig lighter. The Nav unit shouldn't draw very much current. I've done this in all my cars without a problem.
-
If that happened, the engine was overstresed and / or not set up properly. No engine can take overboost or high boost without internal modifications. Sensors on those motors are prone to failing the same as any other car
-
It would be best to do an alignment. The geometry changes with lowering
-
You sure it's the turbo ? or has an intercooler hose come off (quite common ) or have you had it profesionaly checked ? I won't comment on the "REGRET"
-
Are you sure it's the valve and not just a blocked coolant hose or fitting that goes to the valve??
-
If it's electro chromatic it will be heated and will cost around $800 for the glass... to be sure, you determine the part either by sample or the vehicles chassis number
-
You need to hard wire it to an AC sourse (violet switched wire) you can buy extra leads from d*ck Smith to do it. Might also pay to add your location in your profile. I'm sure someone might be able to help you do this.
