  1. I'm glad that it's all sorted for you now Chris
  2. We have had no problems with the composit pumps. We will only use the genuine ones from BMW. The error code for maped cooling should be present with the broken thermostat. If it isn't, still clear adaptions and make sure there are no other fault codes that could effect fuel economy. Some of the engine faults do not trip the engine check light.
  3. You may or may not find them. If you can't..make sure you use a new water pump with a metal or composit impellor. We only use the genuine BMW composit type. That system also has maped cooling which will effect your economy. You will find it has a fault code. Clear the code and clear adaptions
  4. I would suggest you take it to a BMW specialist or a Dealer before you cause yourself any more drama
  5. CDL in Manukau... don't have the number here at home though...ring me in the morning
  6. Sorry to say this.... but I think Rhoan might be the culprit. It could also be that scanner.. I'm not familiar with it. Where abouts are you located ??
  7. Could the 14 in the OP's signature have any significance ??
  8. Have you had the disc rotor off and checked the handbrake shoe mechanism and retainers for the handbrake shoes ?? I've also had the brake material come off the shoes before as well.
  9. Your call... however I don't think it's a good guide for all BMW's or BMW owners.... no offence intended
  10. MHP ?? or is that just a sticker they have used ? I would get the fluid type & grade checked and clarified if I was you. It's dependant on what transmission is in your car. We use either Elf or Genuine oils. This is what I found when I googled Castrol MHP http://www.castrol.com/liveassets/bp_inter...l_MHP_Range.pdf
  11. I would agree Graham. We didn't really deserve to win last night, however the overall performance from the AB's during the tournament entitled them to win the Cup
  12. Have a great day From Glenn & the Team
  13. Most 80w90 grades are hypoid diff oils... not gearbox oil
  14. No it's not too thin. The correct oil is G3 full synthetic. Or you can also use 75w80 full synthetic like Elf Synthese.. which is what I use.
  15. Is the battery secure ? Take the beer out of the boot & drink it
  16. WB Heino.. yes the cars a great buy... I saw it yesterday. Not much I could find wrong with it. BTW. You will need to resize your signature picture
  17. Have a great day Brett From Glenn & the Team
  18. Maybe have a read of this and search around this forum for answers maybe. Or as I and others have said .... get another technician with BMW experience to have a look over it. Or go to the Dealer http://forum.e46fanatics.com/showthread.php?t=755614
  19. Are you sure the new rear diff bush hasn't been ruptured. The genuine bushes are oil filled and easily ruptured if not fitted correctly, even using the proper tool. You can't knock them in or apply unnecessary force on the center when installing them.
  20. They don't look like front CAB's and E30 & E36 rear suspension bushes are completely different. What are they exactely for ??
