Oops. I omitted that bit... its auto No Jatco jerk. Full transmission flush at 100K kms (thereabouts - I have to dig out receipts). Yuen (Mpulsive) has driven the car for 2 months while I was away. He can vouch that the transmission is still very smooth.

I'm in the market for an E39 M-sport. Would prefer a wagon but sh*t they're as rare as hens teeth. 530i is a better drivers car- rack and pinion and not recirc ball, better balance etc, more economy and easier to maintain. 540i - power and power everywhere and a wonderful V8 sound. NZ new cars are slightly under-speced. Not worried about the TV as I wouldn't watch it while driving but no sunroof, or heated seats etc. There is only 1 e39 M-sport wagon and that's a 530i in Chch arriving this weekend. Everything else is a sedan. How much space do you lose if I went down to a sedan? I would be aiming for a F/L so rear seats should fold down. I need to ferry 5 people in relative comfort. (wife + inlaws + accidental baby!). There is a gorgeous 530i M-sport at Coombes Johnston Hamilton but is pricey at $32K. Budget is $25K + trade. Could do more but would have to be special for me to pay the premium. Cheers.

That $69K is not the OMV. Its the on the road cost. The on the road cost for a SG registered 320i is an eye watering SG$155K with COE. (Certificate of Entitlement). Shipping and freight plus dealer markup.

A green flashing light? I've got a new job in a new department and occasionally get called back for Emergencies. Where can I get a uber cool flashing green light? No one in my department knows nor has had one fitted. I know that the LTSA specifically allow docs to have flashing lights when on 'urgent' business. I sat in a massive jam heading towards Ak CBD yesterday. took me 90 mins plus to get from Otahuhu to Queen St. Heard a screech and a Toyota barrelling onto my ass. He stopped in time thank god but his eyes were as wide as saucers. Had a yellow L in the corner. If he had done it properly... I would be car shopping today.
