HAAAAA HAAAAAAA HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA that has made my night... fools utter fools why? why? why would anyone vote for them? I want to find each and every one of them and beat them with an inflatable baseball bat.
  2. I'm going to Bonny Doone this weekend
  3. I wouldn't so much blame the car, I would place more blame on the unreliable owners who grizzle at the price of an $8 bung leading to the overheating engine, blown head gasket and cracked head. Maintenance costs are no higher than most other makes and models. Thank you heaps for your help last week Glenn I really do appreciate the help you gave. I hope I wasn't one of the un-named grizzle munchers. I was contemplating buying a new crank sensor just to eliminate the possibility completely. Put the car up on the hoist and had a close inspection and it is highly likely that it isn't the original engine, lots of broken plug clips and a damaged wire in the loom. No visible damage to the wire I found it with a mulitmeter. I'm guessing when I changed the sensor I gave the wire a bit of a tweak to help it get a signal to the ecu. Fixed the break and put the original sensor back on and away she went. The hissing ICV disappeared as well. I now look forward to seeing what else will break. Now I might tackle the vanos solenoid.

    WANTED

What about a stunt double?? obviously no one is going to be sitting in it while it is being crushed so I am guessing it wont be moving while it is being crushed. I have a pair of identical E34's it would be quite cool to see one of them get crushed. The cirrus blau E34 reg DNJ67 and her sister ship, or are my old girls not bling enough.

  8. But if you sing along to the whole song right to the very end then it lets you close it. I had to watch it again I kept getting the words wrong
  9. Very easy to do.. Check out this site http://www.scribd.com/doc/413516/Haynes-Re...Bmw-e30-e28-e34 page 24/228, it doesn't show the power steering pump but the principal is the same. Sing out if you need help if you can;t figure it out.

    Laptop

Dell also, hrmmm there seems to be a pattern here..
  11. When I was a little little boy, there was this neighbourhood cat, We called it TwoToes, (it only had two toes/claws on one foot the middle toe/claw on one foot was missing) any how we were trying to catch one of the other cats so we tied a mousetrap to the end of a fishing line and put some cat food on it, Twotoes went to see where the smell was coming from and we thought it would be funny to see what would happened, and errr yeah he ran away and we never saw him again Another time we got a big spring and mounted a 4x2 on a pivot on the BBQ table, and devised a release with some string which we stretched across the lawn up into the kitchen window, set the bait and waited. That cat "wobbled" away never to be seen again. It was like real life Itchy and Scratchy.
  12. You have obviously never driven the southern suburbs of Auckland. I'm surprised bongo vans and Toyota Enima's didn't make the list. I wonder what era 325 coupe is most commonly stolen.

    Check this filth

Here is another link to the same photos I believe.. http://www.news.com.au/dailytelegraph/gall...3416-18,00.html This sadly reminds me of my granddad, He was diagnosed with dementia about 3 years ago and his place was almost as bad.. well errr maybe not so filthy as in cigarettes, junk food and the state of the bathroom, but at the point where he had chainsaws, grinders, motorbikes, car engines, lawnmowers, old car doors plus all manner of other crap piled up waist high literally in the living room and 2 bedrooms progressing down the hallway and rotting food in the kitchen. He was crushed by a bulldozer about 28 years ago and is half crippled, so what he had motorbikes and bicycles for we do not know he can hardly walk. But it got to the stage where you could not see the floor. Many times we cleared his house out, and many times he dragged everything back into the house. We fought to keep him out of a "rest home" on account of a promise made to my grandmother on her death bed but unfortunately/fortunately which ever way you look at it mental health have placed him in a rest home. He has rapidly gone down hill since being placed in there, lost all spirit, heartbreaking stuff really. Reality is he will kill himself if he is let out, as he was doing on almost a monthly basis as he cannot control his diabetes in his current state of mind. But unlike the tenant in that article, my granddad owns the house, what he does is his own business, although we hated all the junk its what kept him happy and "alive". I can't imagine that tenant being in a good state of mind. Poor people that own that property having to foot the bill to clean that up. I'd be tempted to do an insurance job heh. Surely one of those cigarettes could easily catch fire.
  14. Anybody have any ideas/tips for removing Silicone from paintwork? Bought a neglected E34 and it is tidying up quite nicely, but the chopper decided to seal the sunroof closed with silicone. Went round the edge and sliced through the silicone and removed the sunroof panel ready to install a replacement. I now have to get all the silicone off thats around the edge of the sunroof opening. Petrol seems to weaken it a little bit on the panel that I pulled out but it takes ALOT of elbow grease. I don't like using my elbows they get sore.. I want something that will just wipe it all off instantly and take the dents and scratches out polish and wax to a mirror finish and err maybe do an oil service at the same time. Anyhow any tips for getting this nastiness off? Acid? oxy acetylene torch? grinder? sand blasting? 4000 unemployed gimps armed with cotton buds? I must put some photos up of this goobers engine modifications, how to make an m20b20 kickass fast.. 4 rolls of packing tape, some alli checker plate, lots of electrical tape (must've run out of packing tape), and cable ties for Africa. I can't wait to rip the engine out ready for the transplant
  15. Haha yeah your gear knob is awesome too.. ya'll gutter trash
  16. I dirtied your plastic bag, I's so sorry its was so clean until my dirty hands touched it.. DON"T LOSE THOSE SCREWS!!!!... hrmmm is now a good time to say I can't remember where they went... I think they held the cambelt on the pulley somehow.... Yeah um sorry about the whole running away thing i was planning on pickng up the other car tomorrow but my helpers had a change of plans, It was the scariest drive of my life. I had to drive all the way back from the Brynderwyn's with no 1st 2nd or 3rd gear, I've driven with some scary gearboxes but this was FREAKY.. poor little big 520i, I was waiting for the motor to blow up chugging up those hills in 4th. I think you should name it Joyful Kitty. Guys his knob kicks ass I might secretly steal it tomorow.
  17. They is some purdy wheels you got there.. Do you want a new bonnet, grill and kidneys so it can look pretty like our pre "Stretched nostril looking" e34's Only pulling ya leg.. looking good..
  18. Ill drop past with another viscous fan for you to try tonight, see if that sorts it out, if it doesn't then we'll look at the thermostat. I'm still puzzled as to the water flow from your old water pump, usually the metal impellers don't give many problems, but there was definitely a lack of flow through the system. I hate that feeling driving along, especially in heavy traffic eyes glued to the temp gauge.
  19. Charge it at work heh. I wonder if it would be small enough to fit in the elevator. Park it under your desk and plug it in. A Peel P50 would be equally as cool though. Or Peel Trident woohoo sporte'
