Very nice. Good work on the upload. Love that interior. Is the leather factory, or retro fitted?
-
Keep it stock! If the factory didn't think it was a good idea at time, it probably still isn't now.

If you could pinch it for low teens, its gotta be a good buy. Does anyone know much about the 316i E46? It says its an 1800, but what engine does it use? Is there much difference between it and a comparable 318i?
-
Turners link Low kms too. Must be an English import. It would probably be a bit of a slug, but I guess the flipside is better fuel consumption!
-
You must be stoked with your new purchase...

I hope he is not trying to welch on you!

Seeing as we are on questions... I've always wondered how to quote from two different posts in the same thread. I only seem to be able to quote from the message I click Add Reply on

Are we not allowed to name and shame on here???

Well if you post stupid comments, what sort of reply do you expect?

Call your dealer for a firm price. Likely to be $300+

You will be amazed at how good a job Jif and elbow grease will do. I once failed a warrant due to yellowed lenses and was told I would need to buy a new headlight. But, after scrubbing them with Jif for nearly half an hour, my headlights were like new

The Ferrari at Armstrong Prestige Audi / Porsche in Wellington is a 1995 456, which is quite a different beast to a 550. The only 550 current listed at the moment is very similar and $45,000 more. Your daddy was wrong. There were some very good buys out there, I don't think anyone paid too much for any of the vehicles. You can see the results through the link here. You will find by comparing the sales to what comparable vehicles are listed on Trademe for shows the vendors at auction were very motivated.

Turners link Looks a bit rough, but at the money would be a very good buy

Ah, good sh*t. If I end up going to the UK in the next year or so, I might have to bring an E39 M5 back with me...
-
What about impact laws though? </h2>
-
If you import it, you won't be able to register it under the new frontal impact law which essentially restricts the age of imports allowed into the country. Seems like you got yourself a very good buy!

Or this one, 96 525i on $1 reserve. Closing bid $5,660. Within a day of closing, its being offered at a fixed price of $8,000. Why do people list things at $1 reserve and then not want to go through with it? It is a waste of so many peoples time. The 525i seller is being unrealistic at $8k, if he wants to sell it im sure he will be waiting quite some time...

Email from Trademe: I guess it would be good when searching for stuff to see actually how much the seller is after. Or alternatively, is this just a way of grabbing money off people who aren't aware of the policy?
-
The stealer can supply you Schnitzer at a big mark up. What is it you are after? Most stuff can be found heaps cheaper on eBay. Sadly, shipping costs does make some things uneconomical.

Looks good. E30 Tourings seem to be such great buys in the UK. Shame its not possible to bring one back with you. A search of ebay.co.uk brings up lots of tasty examples: Mint 325i C2 2.7 Alpina manual 320i manual 325i manual Or, look at this E36 328i touring manual, which looks very nice and is a snip at 1,700 buy now (less than $5k NZ)!

You could at least get a mate with decent feedback to throw a few bids in for you, would look a lot less obvious!!

Knew I would miss something, hence the "other" category

From Topgear.com The 300,000th BMW 'M' car has just rolled off the production line marking, with typical Teutonic synchronicity, the 30th anniversary of the M-division. The milestone car was, since you ask, a white M3 Coupe. OK, this is a bit of an excuse to show some gratuitous pictures of old M-cars, but we're not apologising. BMW's motorsport division was actually established back in 1972, but didn't produce its first road-going car - the legendary M1 - until 1978. Over the next three years, BMW produced just 445 M1s, but proper mass production didn't kick off until 1984, when the first M5 was launched. With a straight six producing a decidedly modest (by modern supersaloon standards at least) 286bhp from its straight six. Two years later, the first M3 arrived with - shock horror - a 2.3-litre four pot engine. But it looked great. Since then we've seen a further three generations of M3s and a hell of lot of other M cars. All of which raises today's big question: if you could have one, just one BMW M car from the last 30 years, what would it be? Answers on a postcard please. An electronical email postcard to [email protected] titled 'BMW M cars'.

Yes, very wank wank. But if it makes you happy, why not?
