saw this http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/C...n-232143530.htm on saturday night, looked 10x more badass in real life. anyone know the owner?
-
+1 m-tech kit is badass, the front of an m-tech e34 is awesome.
-
I only just found this thread and was going to suggest taking it to disputes tribunal rather than making a big drama by taking it to court, depending on what the money owed is. obviously if its in the 10's of thousands then the disputes tribunal won't be able to help.

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

YUSS! I have been waiting for this!!
-
who wouldn't? haha, E28 M535i > any e30 short of an M3 or some freakish weapon blowing flames out the back from a S50B32 with a great dirty holset strapped to the side of it

mine commented on my sun visor being pushed right up against the windscreen, apparently they are supposed to sit "90 degree's from the roof of the car" completely vertical. unfortunately at my height if you have the sun visor like that you can't see anything past the sun visor. I really wonder where they get some of the license testers.
-
the whole manual/auto restriction thing only applies to restricted license, once you've done your full it doesn't matter.
-
all registered and ready to go
-
does that price of $700 include safety items like tyres and brake pads?
-
I almost got failed for resting my elbow on the armrest on the drivers door, even though both hands were on the wheel. Isn't that the point of an armrest?
-
so what had we decided on for the price of the vehicle? and the schedule A requirements are as in your previous post? no wof or reg required? just bought a de-reg'd rover 220 turbo for $600 to sell for bits but its completely driveable, could be keen to turn it into a thrasher.
-
I'll get back to you on that one, I'll see if she wants to get a loan, even if its from me. I think that if she got this I'd be letting her drive the evo more and claiming this for myself haha.
-
my fiance has fallen in love with it so if its still around when her car has sold she could be interested, although in interest of bmw preservation I wouldn't sell it to her as she's already written off one of mine haha. edit: I got slapped for this post, and "there is nothing wrong with the way my fiance drives"
-
seen your car around heaps. I had MONSTR on my evo for a while, had PILLA on a black merc s-class in my naughty days haha.
-
gonna agree there, only ever driven one z3 but if I was to pick the better handling and more fun car to drive it'd be an mx5 hands down. I've driven an earlier 1.8 model, the factory turbo model and an aftermarket 1.6 turbo, the earlier 1.8 was the slowest but probably the best fun to drive. stuck to the road, gearshift was short and snappy and it felt like no matter how close to the edge of traction it was through a corner it could still be pulled in tighter. still wouldn't own one or be seen driving one though haha
-
do it in an auto if you can, they love to criticise shift technique and things like how far from corners you downshift blah blah blah, just about cost me my full test. other than that its easy as long as you use common sense and don't crash or do anything dangerous.
-
cheers, fixes it but still not ideal if I'm needing to do this for every thread. don't know if I've somehow changed some settings without realising it or what :s edit: fixed now
-
apparently it doesn't fix my problems haha, time to go exploring board settings.
-
no luck. just harassing when trying to read new replies to threads or build threads coz I have to open each reply to the thread seperately which takes forever
-
in another problem, not sure if this is a setting on the forum but I used to (until like an hour ago) be able to view posts one after another in pages (1,2,3 etc) now whenever I open a thread it brings up the original post and then links to the replies underneath it, meaning I have to open each individual reply seperately which makes reading a thread pretty impossible. I'm sure there's a setting for this somewhere but I'm lazy and hope someone has a quick fix because its frustrating as hell!

drove this a few weeks ago, interior was riced out, front of the car wandered all over the place, nasty grinding noise midway through clutch travel, the front bumper wasn't as bad irl but when you stood back and looked at the car none of it really fitted together well. plus sides were the mirrors, wheels, wing and thats about it. would have been a good basis for a track car or an m3 conversion I think, if it wasn't for my other e36 already being in bits throughout my garage and halfway through an m3 swappy I think I probably would have bought this.

the hospo industry in the b.o.p is pretty much dead, half the bars and clubs in tauranga (all 4 clubs..) have been either up for sale or close to it in the last 6 months or so. the bonus of this as a dj is more private party work = more money!
-
Oh SNAP had a new track come out a few months back "everyones a dj, I dj, you dj, everyones a dj with a macbook pro.."

I've been DJing house for a few years, been playing around with breaks and dubstep for the last 2 years or so too. playing regular gigs at detroit, coyotes, buddha lounge, bop fm and private parties here in tga with a few gigs in auckland coming up. working on producing my own stuff at the moment but really think I'm a couple of years of playing around before anything decent starts happening haha. started off on vinyl but pioneer cdj's are where its at although I am looking to get into some live production etc later down the line, at the moment my personal setup is 3xcdj1000 mk3's, djm800 & efx500r but since upgrading to the djm800 mixer I barely use the effects unit. the club setup at detroit is 2xcdj1000 mk3's, 2xvdj1000's, djm3000 and a shitbox video mixer which doesn't really bother me as I don't mix video. playing tonight at detroit
