  1. Hmm not like me to chip in but here it goes BMW S50 B32 first N/A engine to produce 100hp/litre and it just gets better. Look at the McLaren F1..... Its all about function and the Teutonic engineers (and they are not all German) from Stuttgart and Munich just seem to get it RIGHT. And lets not start on the efficiency of these engines compared to the North American units you have mentioned here. And face it if we can use a chip to do the job we have function over form. Not a bad thing in my opinion. Most of the engines from both continents (like the LS1 talked about here) are capable of producing phenomenal mileage in terms of distance travelled and we know that comes back to regular systemic maintenance. Just my two cents.........
  2. As per title set of 5 wheels 16"x8" ET 35 to suit E30 M3 or E36. 5x120 stud pattern 72.6 CB. Three wheels are very good andtow would benefit from a small tidy up (kerbing) the photo is of the worst rim. $500 the set and would deliver to Mainfreight and freight to you at your cost. View in Christchurch, 03 3837473/029 7774006

    325is Coupe 1994

As supplied by McMillan BMW back in the day, at a cost well north of $100k. Known as a Schnitzer S3 or silhouette car. It has the Schnitzer catalogue included in the history file. Believe there were 5 or six come to NZ, there was a green one in Wellington and a blue one in the Nelson region. The car presents almost as new, and I'm sure the back seats have never been sat upon. Thanks for the enquiry.

  10. Plus 1 for youshop.About the only thing NZ Post is getting right. Actually that's a bit cruel, nothing wrong with KiwiBank or their Kiwisaver. Its just the POST side of things! Consistent reliable service at reasonable cost. And the benefit of having a US or European address means you can receive your new BMW (or any other Euro brand) parts at a very reasonable cost, and then on- ship to NZ. Be prepared to pay GST on purchases over $400.

    325is Coupe 1994

Build Date March 1994.Chassis JB02939 Reg No SS1338 Supplied by TMBMW July 1994.Full service history. At a cost of more than $110000 on the road there were not many of these AC Schnitzer S3 silhouette coupes bought into NZ. With the M50 2.5 engine producing 190 HP,a top speed of 150MPH and 0-60 in 6.5 seconds (AutoCar magazine Aug 1994) this car was no couch potato, these are respectable figures even today. One owner till June 2013 and on the mainland since, it has travelled 96000 kilometres. Always garaged, driven in the dry only, and in perfect original condition. $13000 For more detail PM or call 029 777 4006 Thanks for reading Update 05 October 2017 Car sold in Feb 2016 to third owner in Tauranga. And in July this year 2017 we bought the car back. It has a recent service with Coombes Johnson in Tauranga, and a complete four corner suspension refresh (Bilsteins), new bushes and sway bars, and new brake rotors too. So now it is really is a show car, and go car! The car is still in Tauranga, and if we don't sell it or deal it on something else I'll bring it back to the South Island, although at the moment there is no room in the garage! 23. Errrrrrr to Mark- Forum- "market place or occassion for debate". Not all of us are avid TRADE ME watchers as you suggest and I for one look forward to the postings of MD13, especially for the M3 or related adverts that I may have missed. He is entitled to express himself,(and kick tyres) and to post on this forum as he pleases, without your comments. Just as you do.
  24. The car sold at auction for a strong price in todays market. Door shuts were silver but I suspect the underbonnet was still the original colour.See photos.
