Gosh my car is serviced every 5000km. And i'm pretty sure the e39 is done every 10,000-15,000 25,000 does seem a lot! -
Around $20ish for a really nice, good quality one.
-
I'll pester Dad to let me take the e39 up the coast to get a photo!
-
Typo. Would definately not be the 2L S14!!

One thing I really hate is when people list TradeMe auctions: "It's failing a wof for some rear tray thing, should be easy to fix!!"

Checked your SI board batteries?

Very sensible observation! Of course I would assume NZ New cars would not be affected? Or would prices increase to mirror their Jap equivilants?

Please don't post in Caps, it represents shouting haha But yes, you have found one of the many lies by the infamous 'Strat1.' There are many threads on here about this loser!

Naughty, naughty. This should be in the TradeMe discussions section.

I know nothing about turbos, but don't they work at higher revs (as opposed to a super charger that works at lower revs) so fitting one to a low revving eta engine (that redlines at 4500rpm) would be rather pointless?

And hugely bloody expensive, being 3 times the cost of the OBC!

The legroom in the 5 series isn't much better! I fight with my little sister when she's in the front seat of Dad's e39 530i!
-
Cool, did it just hook up?
-
I seriously hope you made a back up! Good luck in finding it.

'88 318i Ever since i've bought my car i've always thought what a weak, pussy sounding horn it has. However, when comparing horns with a kid at school who has a 320i, his horn sounds well, a lot manlier so-to-speak. I was reading my e30 original sales brochure and I see that a "two-tone horn" is standard from the 320i upwards, and I guess this is that fantastic sounding horn my friend has. So I was wondering can a horn from a 325i or 320i be easily swapped (i.e. just plugged straight in) into a 318i? Or will I have to fiddle with electrics etc? I have searched on worldwide forums but have had no luck. Cheers

That's good news for me haha. I read in the owner's book that the light comes on when there's 6 litres left, so I got a bit of a fright when my light came on after 430 km of driving! It's an '88 318i

In the US those motors are well known for their intergalactic mileages. The highest i've seen on a US board is a 325e with 400,000miles, or 643,000km!

Can we please have some interior pics?
