But if I gave it to you, I'd have an empty spot... and they're labelled! x3... 4 if you count me , and you probably should. We have a 15mm spanner in the kitchen utensil drawer They don't even have cars yet - Solomon is 5 and a half, so it'll be at least 4 years before he'll get one Moe is too conservative. They're not even allowed guns until they're 12!

Woohoo... Cleaning out the garage, and found my 11/32 socket ... WTF will I ever use it for??? Probably won't even fit on the Model A. So far it's only ever been used for filling the space in the set...

He put that on the front grille, because the original 2.0 XL sticker was already in the "correct" ///M badge spot.... I had a spare one after I took it off the E39, so I made good use of it:

e39 auto trans compatiblity between 2002 520i and 1999 523i
Allanw replied to mons2b's topic in Maintenance
Sorry - I can't really help either, but... It might work... but you'd really have to know what trans is in what car, and that can vary by the market it was made for. You could look them up by chassis number, and see what they should have had, on RealOem or similar. You also have to be a bit careful, because the Japs had a 525i which was really a 523i, and wasn't like the M54 525i at all. There were the M52 engines, AND the M52TU's. I couldn't tell you the differences about the trans, but very early E39's are just about an entirely different car to the late ones, from an electronics point of view. Some of the transmission codes changed, JUST because they went from proper oil changes, to "sealed for life" - even though the trans might be functionally exactly the same, there is no dipstick etc. It's a hard call to make without being REALLY sure. It's a lot of work to fit a used trans, then discover that some guy you don't know, who said it was going to work, was wrong... on the internet... practically never happens Find a manual box and cram that in -
Nah - not real experience... we have one level on concrete..... maybe when I was younger

Shut up Glenn. I helped a guy manhandle his boat trailer out of the drian across from our house... he misjudged the driveway width. He dropped me off a crayfish, and I ate practically all of it myself

I buy the vast majority of BMW parts from Paul. Even genuine stuff I want from the dealer!

Unless you hook it onto a joist that holds up the lounge floor above, and pull it down

After a daily driver for sons 1st car, range $2-3000 approx
Allanw replied to KillerX's topic in Want to buy
There are $20K cars around in as poor condiiton - at least the parts are cheaper for older ones (generally). -
So which car will be arriving in my drveway on my birthday visit this weekend???
-
And you brought the M5 for it's ecconomy, ease of maintenance, and the low costs of it's parts... Get some transformer oil, and fill it up :-) Oil cooled actuators A few Electric Bike guys have done it, and lower temps/increased motor life (they can do 50MPH in a few seconds... on a push bike, so it's a fair bit of heat created)

I thought it was like the E30 ones - the actual plastic handle breaks at the pin mounts. Just put a new one in Dads E30.

Maybe the Glacier Blue 325i SE too

Well done... to her really, not you Congrats... I've got 3 boys... "noise with dirt on"!

After locking, "short press" the lock button again???
-

Wurth "dab off glass sealer" is the same stuff, but in a tube - Awesome stuff :-) I keep 2 or 8 tubes in the garage. It doesn't wreck anything by glueing it forever - it goes on all the boot rubbers on all my cars, and also under the windws seals on the old ones to stop water getting in.
-
That explains the 1 image...

Moes is a warranty replacement from 2003 :-) Shall I get you 3 cases of Wurth system cleaner to get all the crap out of the intake??? Do it just rpior to each oil change :-)
