  1. Really peak torque that high up the band? Score none the less!
  2. Any success with water injection kits with the usa crowd to keep the carbon build up minimal?
  3. I read somewhere the system is setup to simulate the Nurburgring Nordeshleife. Pretty cool though!
  4. Is it something you can code in dis?
  5. Get a rottweiler puppy also. Future insurance.
  6. That turned out mint. This is exactly what I need to do on my seats. Time to get off my Ar$se and get it sorted. Well done!!!!
  7. Just need the s62 and life will be choice
  8. The 235i is pretty loose. Drove one arouns hampton. The 135i would be also fun.
  9. Unless those 10,000kms are spent on the Nurburgring at full tit.
  10. Yeah you can't deny that v10 howl is addictive !! I think you still need to pay more than 35k for a well maintained E60 M5.
  11. DaveO's old one was recently sold again, I think it went for 26k. Since you've already owned an M car I'm sure you're familiar with the M tax and servicing costs. The vanos hydraulic units seldom fail. It's usually the solenoid o-rings, or solder join failure which causes grief - It's not expensive or labor intensive to put right. manual transmissions can be a pain in traffic, but aside from that they're an epic all rounder.
  12. Cheers Ron. Will sell it you for 1900 slides if you're genuine? I've owned it for 18 months. I've only needed to reco the starter as it would not engage intermittently. It's passed every wof (at a subaru specialist). I have thoroughly cleaned it so no fluff or dog smells. If anyones keen you won't be disappointed at the tidyness of the interior.
  13. But it's a cheap and reliable run about with ample room to cart around BMW parts! http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=937476608
  14. GLWS Is the next M car going to have sufficient ground clearance?
  15. Might be keen on some rolls of the 9002 to refurb my Alcantara parcel shelf.
  16. As obtuse as this advice is, a used m62tu would more than likely be less than the repair bill for the job in car.
  17. Although the numbers probably didn't stack up to officialy sell the e46 M3 touring, you can't deny that it's a seriously handsome car. Well done Hellbm.
  18. Be sitting down for when who ever quotes you labour and parts for this job.
  19. Used to be owned by Ross @ bmworkshop. Might still be..
  20. Polished up the wood trims and installed a new Z4m illuminated shifter knob. The extra weight in the shifter knob gives it a bit more of a solid feel, but not as bolt action rifle like as the old ebay short shift kit installed by the po. Clutch is now pretty much broken in. No more squeaky clutch pedal which is also a bonus. I have a full set of spare trims that I'm thinking about painting gloss black with a polished finish...
  21. Yeah. They emailed me months ago advising shipping price would increase. To which i replied how much.. I never received a reply, so i emailed again. They finally replied saying they hadn't placed the order because they didn't see the reply. They then advised the inflated shipping price. To which i replied with an electronic 'middle finger'.
  22. So after being mucked around with Schmiedmann (974USD vs original 102USD) price for shipping of the Eisenmann back boxes, I've found another dealer in the UK that I've now placed an order with. The 2 month wait begins all over again....
