Awesome thread. I'm going to be doing something similar to the seats of my 750i at some stage though not to this extent. Just a few small patches for me. Very cool project you've got going there.

As much as it sucks I would let them have them. It just isn't worth the future aggravation should they choose to be dicks about you calling the cops on them. And you can guarantee they would.

From what he's been telling me the PO did the conversion using a M5 6 speed and the diff was done using a 95 740i large case diff with the internals from a E32 LSD.

ha ha.. I agree. Trying now to get my hands on a 00 740i here in town but the owner and I are still a long way away from eachother on price. The body and upholstery are shot and it's done over 300k. BUT. Its had a 6 speed manual conversion and someones done the work and put a large case LSD in it. I want those bits in my 740..lol

Boredom. This sucks. Wanna do stuff and cant. Pulled the cupholder out of the spare parts car yesterday and though it was only a 20 min job it was a real "pain"..lol Trying to get into the car on those angles was probably not a wise idea in my state.

Not the first time I've had a broken rib. First time I've had 2 at the same time though..lol Yup, pay attention. I'd slipped in the gravel I was moving off the trailer a couple of times prior to going ass over head.

I agree. Found a few more things left behind. Definitely worse. On another note. In a moment of idiocy I slipped in some 20ml gravel I was moving off the trailer this afternoon. It was like stepping on marbles. Landed on the side of the trailer and broke 2 ribs. So there goes the rest of my holiday and all the plans I had. Has put me firmly in the spectator zone for a couple of weeks at least. Damn it.

Having had a lady "friend" come to stay for the weekend I don't know whats worse. Not being able to find stuff I want because she found a new home for it or finding stuff I don't want(toothbrush, hair cap and products in bathroom) because she left it behind.

no blinds but I believe it has a unbroken front cup holder. I'll have a look tomorrow.
