  1. It's got the split mirror. Only the left hand side is avaliable though.
  2. Yup. That'll make ya pucker up real quick.
  3. I'm parting out a 96 735i. Green with a tan interior. Chrome, tail lights, front bumper and a few other things I'll be keeping but anything you need ask away. Will post up pics and more details on the weekend.
  4. NIce find Andy. Was this on TM a while ago? only one or two owner? Have you got plans for it yet? Restore or mod?
  5. ha ha. Your just being a tease now. Thats a bit like the hot blond down the road saying "HEY, I got a boob job", and then keeping them covered.
  6. How about a project thread Andy so all the rest of us can ogle your latest find??
  7. Gawd, I love living on my own. I honestly dont think I could be bothered with the hassle of having to deal with others and thier sh*t anymore. I even bought a place just out of town so I dont have to put up with neighbours either..lol Ok, I may be a wee bit antisocial :rambo: But I live by my rules and nobody elses.

    BMW E34

Looks very nice. Always a good feeling to stand back and admire your car after giving it a good detail.
  9. Damn, that just looks too sexy.
  10. Welcome to the forum. Nice ride you have there.
  11. Looking good Jooles. Cant wait to see pics of the rear. I really want to put an Alpina lip in my E38 but with the front of the 740i already lowered I scrape every time I leave a parking lot as it is.
  12. Nice find. I'll be watching progress on this and waiting to see it on the road. Very cool.
  13. Cheers for that. Tims site has a really good owners manual on using the ph but nothing about trouble shooting it(that I could see).
  14. I'd really like to get the car ph going but I'm not having a lot of luck finding any info on fixing it. I've checked the fuses and they're ok but still have no power to it. Does anyone have any ideas where I should be looking? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  15. If it's not loaded with rust I'd be wanting to save it.

NIce to see a new project thread for me to read on my night shifts. I'll be watching with interest..
  17. Fair question Kyu. I live in the country so when I say a quick drive I mean a good 15 mins of up and down hills and windy roads and I left it idling in the drive for about another 5 mins and gave it a couple of good revs. No rattles, no smoke and the oil is nice and clean. So I think it's safe to say it's good.
  18. Put the battery back in it today and after a few clicks(starter motor had seized) it turned over and fired into life. Had a drive up and down the road and it drives very nice and super smooth through all the gears. No rattles or smoke and all is good. Till I turned it off. Now it wont even turn over. Oh well... At least I know the engine and trans are good so when the time comes I can sell them in good faith.
  19. Your right. Definitely a parts car. I'd still like to see if I can get it running before I dismatle it. As the water only seeped into the footwells I think the only problem I'll have will be with the connection box under the passenger seat. It sits in a hollow in the floor so even if you get all the water out it will still end up looking like ths.
  20. Have it home now. Theres still a good inch of water sloshing around the rear footwells but other than that it's really tidy. I stopped at a service station in Palmy and a guy came up and said he'd sold it about 3 months ago and wondered why it was on my trailer. Told him the story about it being flooded to the sills. He was a bit sad but proceeded to give me the history of the car. Turns out about 6 months ago he had the trans fully recondition and cost him a couple of grand. Dont know if it'll ever run again though. I turned the ignition on and everything went haywire. I've disconnected the battery and will get the interior dried out and I'll try again.
  21. I'm going to have to add to that. Beer, boobies and a BMW. Life's complete.
  22. As stated in the other thread you posted in there will be some teething problems with the roll out of any new system. Especially when your dealing with cars. So many makes and models and sub models to deal with. I dont know but I'd assume there would be some kind of review process you could go through. Seriously? You have 5 posts and you want to go poking sticks at someone who's not only a respected contributor to the forums but a moderator as well? Good luck with that..lol
  23. There is a kind of poetry to it..lol Finishing work at 1 today so I'll do the drive to Palmy with a trailer and pick it up. Looking forward to seeing it for the first time.
  24. Pick it up tomorrow. MIght see if I can get it going first and have a drive or 2 before I dismantle it.
