Did someone here hurt your feelings? I think you missed the point of this post.

"The sheer number of @$$holes in BMWs is astounding"
Driftit replied to dubman's topic in General Discussion
Doesn't happen here. Not enough rich douche bags. The limited number of Rich Douche bags in NZ seem to buy Audi's and VW's. -
Mate just showed me this. But no good for me. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=683122836&ed=true Worth a bid.

Meh. Stretched Tyres. If it was that low and had proper rubber I would be impressed.

Jealous of your set up. I really want to put some money aside to purchase one but need to focus on my car build. Hoping to borrow a camera this week for the racing at Taupo this weekend. Is a Sony action cam. Car sounds good btw.

This was just a term to give idiots who think negative 6deg camber looks good. This online wheel store took it seriously. http://www.ebay.com/itm/17X9-STR520-5X112-120-20MM-GUN-METALWHEELS-FITS-BMW-325-E36-E46-HELLA-FLUSH-/331034024112?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Wheels&hash=item4d132a58b0&vxp=mtr

Shhhhhh. You are letting out an E30 series car secret there. BP 98 was so hit and miss. On my old S13 180SX I had a knock sensor display. Was always interesting seeing that some tanks of BP98 would jump the knock up about 50%. Pretty much putting it on par with 95 octain. Gull and Synergy 8000 were the most stable.

I purchased my entire engine rebuild from overseas. After freight and GST I saved around $1500 on $5000 worth of engine components. Performance shops in NZ are purchasing the parts for not much less than Joe Blogs can. Cut out the middle man who does nothing more than dip his fingers. But when it comes to standard parts I am pretty loyal to Gavin at Euro Italian. He just makes things so easy. Quick email and everything is done. For VW. Your only cheaper option is Qualitat. Ask for Shane and tell him Dan from the BMW forum sent you. Might be lucky to get a discount. He has put me off any VW and Audi for life though. The horror stories are just crazy.

Nissan when they were hear were one of the worst. $330 per piston for an SR20DET. Got them for $48each from the states. Turbo gaskets $110 here. $15 over there. List goes on. All factory Nissan packaged and stamped.

Isn't there someone always wanting one of these? Fiji green.......
Driftit replied to Palazzo's topic in TradeMe discussions
An S13 200sx. 260rwkw from a 1.8ltr. She has fun in it. Though is now thinking about selling it to get something else she can learn with at the track. Showed her this E36. No smile. No words. Just walked away shaking her head. -

Mine would probably ditch me if I turned up with an Auto for her to drive. She is a little different though. Her car is currently more powerful than 95% of the people on this board. Including both of mine at the moment. -
Quite a noticeable jump on the ST HiTech dyno between BP98 and Force 10. They tested it and got nearly a 10rwkw gain on a 200rwkw car. Tuned to the fuel of course. sh*t thing is that the fuel is not common outside of Auckland. Not all Gulls have it. And not every town has a Gull.

Why not just get Kayne Barrie to have one made for you. Triple plate units for Dan and i's 500 to 600hp E34 turbos could easily handle an M60. Kayne Barrie Motorsport

Laser Jammer. Works well on the E55.

I have a couple. But from when I was a kid. I have a 1988 M3 made by Corgi. And a 1990 535i made by Burago. Strangely I have all the initial D cars still in their boxes somewhere.

Yip. With that awsome M50B30 that they renamed. No wonder S50/52's are so expensive over there.

I got some great stuff. Giant framed poster of all the BMW M Cars. A 20ltr Jerry of ELF 10w40 for the race cars. A big jug of Jim Beam. And some cash to help my bank account after buying other presents. Also got myself a Bluetooth GPS that runs at 5-10hz to work with Harry's Lap timer. And my crank scraper for the M30 decided to show up Xmas eve.

Wow, bullet proof glass....and a Paul walker spoiler

I love the GT wing. -
http://jalopnik.com/bmw-m-cars-ranked-1488668117 From Jalopnik. For me I don't like the M1 unless it is in race form. So I won't include it. 1. E30 M3 2. E24 M6 3. E34 M4 4. E31 M 5. E82 1M At the bottom of my list would be the least looking M car there is. The E36 M3. Take the badges off and it could be just another 328.

Mines Harvester of Sorrow Black. Another shade of Metallica. That nice E36 is still an E36. It will start falling to bits from the inside out very soon.

Dream is to get over there at some stage and go to a few of these events.

Andy does the bmwraceseries website run off the same server still? It is no longer working.

E30 Series cars are doing 1:22 around Hampton. A good teacher makes a huge difference. I was lucky enough to have Dan Gaunt teach me a few things. If you are ever at Hampton and an E30 Series car is there. Jump in behind it and follow their lines. You should be able to match them through the corners for a couple of laps on road rubber. Then use that awesome straight line speed.

Agree.

My god. I almost wish I had been a smoker and had quit just to save that much money from not smoking. Instead I prob spent that much money on heaps of F all. I donated about that to the city of Vegas this year.
