They are the same bumper but not chrome plated. It will be seriously hard to find a M325 bumper for PLF. Might be worth looking at prices to get a mint chrome one stripped and painted.
-
FYI The only painted PFL bumpers come on M325i's.

Not in a E39 540 hes not. One wheel tyre fire for them. Uncool. Oh and welcome to the internet Graham...........

Question. What is the difference and benefits over a camera such as the Go-Pro or Sony Action Cam. Which both have a live app. What are the specs and price of the camera?

That exact car sold on TM around a year ago for just over $5K. I rang to buy it for race car duty and it was already gone back then.
-
Your best bet would be getting a lock up for yourself. There was a number of places in Mt Wellington advertising a while back. They are not cheap.

What model BMW. Much too thin if it is 80's or 90's. Especially if she is getting on. 100K+kms.

I had no choice. Mine was taken by the Albany Nazi. A pom import cop who does nothing other that traffic duty. I argued that he was not able to take my property and I did not give him authority to do so. He did anyway. Leaving me on the side of the road with no plates. His reason was that I could use them to steal fuel. Going to use my own rego to steal fuel. Muppet. This caused another issue. I did not have the original plates. So had nothing to put back on the car. I was not able to get new plates as I had nothing to surrender to VTNZ. I had to get a police report from the Albany police station from a Sergeant who knew nothing about the the plates nor why the Nazi would want to take them. This is also when I found out there was a fine to go with it. I challenged the ticket twice. With the result of too bad criminal scum pay up.

I have had numerous friends from all over Auckland have their plates removed or fined and told to remove them. Beachlands, Howick (Same guy two different cars) Papakura West Harbour Avondale Albany x 3 (Myself and two work mates same f**kwit cop who treats you and your car like sh*t) And it seems once you have been warned you getting targeted the 2nd time around. Both an Audi driving mate and myself have had this happen. Its a risk. Just have to weigh up if it is worth it to you. I didn't get demerit points taken but my two work mates did a few weeks back.

There is a bloody ugly one around my hood in Torbay. It had red wheels at one stage I wonder if the chrome wrap was next on his mod list. Could be mates with the white and fluro orange 7 series.

As I posted on the Bimmersport bookface. Quick helmet cam video of the new M3 at some sort of promo shoot.

Total oil would be fine too I would think. Total acquired ELF a number of years ago. They have a very strong relationship with Renault. Shame it doesn't make them any prettier
-
Elf can be purchased in Auckland from ADL or Exedy on the Shore. Otherwise give them a call on 0800 353 645 to see who supplies it. It is no more expensive than other brands like Castol. It does come in a 5ltr pack too. Rather than the bloody annoying 4ltr packs which are not enough for any Bimmer or Nissan. Redline can be a hit and miss too. It can be very harsh on copper syncros. Kayne Barry Motorsport (Gearbox/Diff/everything Guru) always recommends us to use Castrol gear oils in the BMW race series.

Sell both and find a manual 325i FL that you like. Don't waste time and money on a conversion unless it is really worth it and will save you money buying a newer better E30.
-
Was one of Henry's days Steve. Notorious for crashes and bad driving. Would have to pay me to go back on track with that crowd again. Which is a shame because Henry is a nice guy.

10w40 Elf Competition. Best oil I have found in my E30's and Nissans. I found magnatec dropped my oil pressure too low after races. Meaning it doesn't do as good a job when hot. Changing out the magnatec in the pits between races solved the issue immediately. I also tried two American oils called Champion and Royal Purple. Both of which were instantly much more noisy than the Elf oil and once again oil pressure was too low after a race. I actually think the Champion diff oil f**ked my road e30's diff.

Swap you. You can redo my ones in leather instead. Haha.
-
Is pretty common in M325i's. My runaround has it also. It is only worth money if it is in mint condition. If it is already worn or on its last legs its worth bugger all as it is so expensive to repair. Mine is worn out. I will just replace it with leather as the fabric is no longer available as the others said.

Block has been claimed. Cheers.
-
Does anyone want a M20B20 complete short block? Motor was low KM's around 120K but some idiot cooked the head. Head was not warped just cracked. Free to a good home. It is taking up precious M30 Turbo room. Is currently on a stand and I have an engine crane to lift it into your vehicle. I am in Torbay on the North Shore. Dan 0211887733 Edit: If you take the block I will chuck in the head and intake manifold which is worth about $35 in scrap.

If you still have a factory one on your car you can buy a replacement mast from here. http://www.pelicanparts.com/BMW/catalog/shopcart/BE30/POR_BE30_MISCLL_pg15.htm#item67

$1400 winning bid. Wow. My brother sold his 728 pfl which was well rooted for $11K only a few years ago.
-
Cheap one. Was thinking about grabbing it just for its motor. But I have no time or room for another project at the moment. http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/used-cars/bmw/auction-648960212.htm

Motor was bog standard other than the headers they made to make it fit. AJ got bored of the car and sold it on a quite a while ago. Was just a muck around project for the workshop boys so not a lot of money was spent.
