    wd tv

I got my Dad one of those a few months back. Was on special at d*ck Smith. Got him a 1TB HDD to go with it which I filled with TV shows and movies for him. He loves it. We had a little trouble getting it to play 720p files though. I was meant to look into why but never did. Might be just a firmware upgrade. There is a few other brands that do similar jobs. Asus just brought out a new range not long ago. Was checking it out at Computer Lounge the other day. Asus one wtih Networking http://www.computerlounge.co.nz/hometheatr...sp?partid=11118 There is a ton of them now. Lots of brands. http://www.computerlounge.co.nz/hometheatr...?parttypeid=556 BTW Computer Lounge has a big new shop on Carbine Road. Its sweet.
  2. You have half those cars in your back yard don't you.
  3. Best thing to do is to not separate the pedal box until it is out of the car. Follow Cam's instructions but remove the whole pedal box as one piece. Sell it as one piece too. So much easier than trying to wiggle the clutch and brake pedal out from under the dash. Took me 3 times as long last time I tried it that way.
  4. Yeah you can have it. Though you might already have a few though. Came on the following. Part # 13 53 1 722 040 and 13 53 1 711 541 (same product two part #'s) Also came on Holdens. 5. Found the Bosch ecat. You are able to search by car or by Bosch Part number. In some cases you are able to obtain the OEM part number. Which sometimes has nothing in common with the number on the part. E.g. The Bosch 0 280 150 716 injector has the OEM number of 13 64 1 726 989. Type that into RealOEM and you find them. http://www.realoem.com/bmw/partxref.do?par...&showeur=on Bosch Ecat http://ecat-online.bosch.de/toc/en/0000rmK...ndexFramesetJsp How did I end up with a 3 bar Fuel Pressure Reg on this Donor motor? Thats a bit much for an M20 thats for sure. Only 320 they came on was the 320is. Which is an S14 motor. So that gets biffed in the parts bin.
  6. Yeah just trying to figure out how to get the BMW numbers from the Bosch numbers. They have some sort of code. 13641 is injectors 12531 is Pressure regs Played around with the next three digits but they don't seem to have any relation to the part numbers. The final 3 digits are the finial 3 numbers of the Bosch number however.
  7. Yeah thats actually where I am trying to search. The parts listed for my car are not the ones that are on it. I want to know where they came from. And if you have the 7 or 11 digit part number it will list a number of vehicles that the part came on.
  8. Just wondering how you get the correct part number for websites such as pelican parts? e.g. The websites require an 11 or 7 digit part number. But all the parts I am searching for have 10. e.g a 320 fuel injector 0 280 150 716 or a fuel pressure reg 0 280 160 249 How do you convert these so that I can search for those parts rather than clicking on pictures trying to find them? Cheers Dan

    Barking Dogs

I did the same thing as Gavin. Our neighbor has a bark at everything dog also. This does not work well as they are over the road from a school. Dog scares the crap out of the Primary School kids as they walk past. They then got a second dog. All it did was rark up the first dog to no end. Called the council and they sent around someone to check the mutts out. They agreed with me that the dogs were a problem. The owners were informed and only given one chance to sort it out. Few days later one dog was gone. They must have taken some action to keep the original a bit quieter, as it only barks at the school kids and not all day now. We have a new puppy ourselves. And it is a yappy dog. So we are putting some effort into training her to not bark so much. This can take a ton of time and I could imagine most people would give up.
  10. Hey guys am looking for some mint condition rockers for a M20B20. If you have some that are already off the head and checked for no excessive wear please let me know. Cheers Dan 0211 88 77 33
  11. $700-$900 from wreckers last time I looked. Seems to be a few more around at the moment.
  12. Hey heading up to Rays tomorrow hopefully. Will grab your screen and drop it off to Lance.
  13. I know what my next hobby is going to be.
  14. I had one for a few months to drive around in. It was an 05 non turbo NZ new one. Bar it being quite ugly from the front I absolutely loved it. Great power, handling and brakes. Interior was super comfy for me. It drove like a car. Found the NAV and radio had way too many buttons though. Had a built in phone of which you just load a sim card into the stereo system. I can't comment on the fuel econo as I went everywhere quite quickly. It chewed through the gas though. Far more than my 540i would have being driven in the same manor. I was infact cleaning her up to sell. It had only done 50k. I think we sold it for $60K about two/three years back. We found that it was not a sort after model as it did not have the active suspension. Active suspension added another 10K to resale and made it much easier to sell. It apparently solves many of the alignment and ride issues they have. The owner purchased the new shape at the time. Has since sold that one too. Had some good pics of it. Will see if I can find them.
  15. I also wondered about this bit. Seems a bit excessive. Especially when you had pulled over and turned the car off. I am sure Police would need good reason to use any force. It is always hard for other forum users to take sides when we read these kind of stories. And even if the story you have told is fact, it can still be interpreted in different ways. To me it ether seems the cop has mistaken your slide for a burnout/drift and then has mistaken you driving away as trying to run from him. Then using excessive force against you. Or he wasn't mistaken at all. To make such big miss-observations on what seems to be a simple scenario does happen. But not all that often.
  16. Nice find. But my god is the music bad.
  17. No I think she was a Jappa. But I sold it to a mate so the price was adjusted. Still had factory head unit and stacker, everything worked, interior looked like it had never been used. Pretty sure the boot had never had anything placed in it. Could see a few little repairs here and there. Was going to turn it into a race car. But was to good for that.
  18. I just sold my absolutly mint 1990 320i 4 Door Manual in White for $4K. Was all original bar the conversion. 150,000km.
  19. I like the Aussie E39 M5 one more.
  20. The car actually had some genuine M5 wheels on it. Looked great. I think they now live on Rays 540 estate?
  21. Yeah I will grab it on Monday and give you a call. Would prefer handing around a female than a piece of glass.
  22. It will take up the width of your back seats mate. I have to go up to Rays to pick up an injector at some stage early next week. So if you guys want me to pick it up and drop it to someone in Auckland let me know.
