  1. In the E60 you need to look for the BT module. Have a google for what it looks like. It is behind the trim in the boot. I think left hand side. Easy to pull it all out to have a look. If you car is older than 2005 you prob don't have BT. You can retro it but it is a bit of effort and does require programming. Anyone who knows how to program using NCSExpert can enable it. If you AUX is not enabled you could do this too.
  2. I have a Wayco Jack. It cost me around $18K in lost income when I tried to pick it up one day. Wrecked my back.
  3. Did you pick them up from West Auckland? Have a Rotor tramp stamp? Or have 3 kids to 5 different dads? Rotary girls..
  4. Call around some of the freight forwarding companies. $200 seems a bit high. It was only around $70 to send a set of wheels and tyres to Welly. And they were not light.
  5. Sure I said this last time. But anyway.. I see the new crate motor as nothing but a waste of money. I would have rather had the original motor rebuilt (keeping the matching numbers). And if I was burning money I would have had the motor built to a much higher standard than the generic stock M60. Forged pistons, Cams... Making the most of the manual box. The M60 is no powerhouse but can be woken up. I have to use this GIF again.
  6. Hey guys and girls. Found this good deal on Grabone last night. Got it this morning and the guys came out and sorted the car today already. https://www.grabone.co.nz/auckland/headlights-restoration $99 for the deal. Which is a last chance deal. Think it will be gone soon. But the normal prices are $80+gst per light Includes UV coating (not just a buff) They come to you. If you don't get the Grabone deal give Kevin a call on 021 153 1006 www.renewcar.co.nz
  7. I was going to stroke one of my m20s a while back. And was told this had to be done. I actually have a complete loom and ecu to do this if you need it.
  8. Want some if they are genuine. But that car is in Wellington.
  9. This plus 1 year WOF's. Prepare your claim forms. If you survive.
  10. I have a VAG-COM KKL 409.1 cable with a FT232RL chip. (OBD2 to USB) This is for use with INPA, EDIABAS, NCSExpert, NCS Dummies, DIS/GT1, EasyDIS, & Progman. It is not for the simple minded. It takes a a lot of setup and mucking around. Some of the files can be a pain to get a hold of. But I have most of them and can send via email or dropbox. I do not recommend playing with this unless you have a clear understanding of what you are doing. Especially if you want to use it for programming. You can seriously stuff up the modules on your vehicle. Including totally bricking the module requiring replacement. This is exactly what Glenn and Rod are talking about in the above posts. If you are wanting to program a module I highly recommend leaving it to a qualified pro. Some people will claim they can but know nothing past using it as a diagnostic tool. Here is a quick run down of what is what. http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/showthread.php?t=561237
  11. sh*t for that price buy my M325i. At least then you have a genuine Motorsport. Not a made up one for real one money.
  12. What year is it btw? I just thought it would be something like an E24/E30. If it is something from that era all the RHD cars were really just converted LHD cars anyway. So everything was the same in all other aspects.
  13. Nope. Only if you have a RHD BMW and installing a LHD engine. LHD runners may not fit.
  14. Yeah I am not sad that I retired my plate to the garage wall.
  15. Yeah I use to get the same thing when I owned my 180sx's. Well either that or pull a drift bro.
  16. Was next to you at the gas station last night in the E60. Forgot your name and didn't want to be a random "Hey you're that person from Bimmersport" guy.
  17. Still using my powerbuilt set I got 11 years ago. Never had an issue. Lifetime warranty. Can buy all the pieces as individuals which is handy when they go wandering at the racetrack.
  18. If you are in Auckland. There is no passing lane. There is no fast lane. The roads are too crowed and the drivers too poorly educated for this concept to work any longer. Also I don't think it is drilled into new licence sitters as much as it was 15+ years ago. A good chunk of people on our roads are also from Countries where these rules don't exist.
  19. Common practice for these scum bags. Worked at Baycorp for a full week before walking out on them many years ago. Training consisted of lying and tricking the person you are harassing into paying. There was a huge number of people that I contacted for unpaid bills where Baycorp had selected the wrong person. Yet it was up to the accused to clear their name. Internal competition for getting people to pay. Near no checks for orgs claiming someone owes them funds. Just lodge it and let baycrap hassle them for months whilst they try and prove themselves innocent.
  20. No doubt the new F&F. They finished filming a few weeks back.
  21. If it was an E30 M3 I would agree. But they are a non- appreciating non-collectible and prob won't be for 20+ years. Daily the crap out of it and enjoy every moment. Looks good. GLWS.

Haha buy it John. Would go well with the other two. And yeah that is a Soda Stream bottle. Was one of those "What the hell is rolling around under the seat" things.
  23. Hey guys and girls. Time to sell on my little M325i. This has been my daily driver for the last 3 or 4 years. The car is nearly 100% factory standard and I have been trying to return it to that condition. This would be a great buy for someone who is looking to create something immaculate rather than spend big bucks on one already there. I have a genuine reason for selling. I have no time to get the car to the immaculate standard I want it to be. Work commitments and the build of my race car take priority. The pictures speak for themselves. The car looks great. She also sounds great and has recently had the eccentrics adjusted, Rotor and cap replaced, new plugs, new viscous hub, new windscreen and a few other bits and pieces. The head was off about a year back to do the valve stem seals so has all new gaskets, new cam belt, water pump and tensioners. All the suspension arms have been replaced around 3 years ago. The subframe bushes and diff bush were replaced less than 1000kms ago. There is a few little wear and tear items that need attention. But good news, I have all the parts required and they will come with the car. The drivers seat is a little worn but I have plenty of matching material to patch it up. The sunroof motor is a little weak but I have another here. The dash has your typical E30 cracks. But I have a crack free dash to go with it. The diff is a little noisy but is an LSD unit and still works perfectly. Possible a fluid change could help. The heater fan has a mind of its own. I have a complete replacement unit to be done when the dash is installed. Very early import from the UK. The car is slightly lowered on genuine BBS wheels and has good rubber all round. The interior is pretty tidy and with further love would come up perfect. Has had a few speedo clusters. But is around 180,000 miles Current cluster is very close and can be recalibrated to the correct reading which I have recorded somewhere. Feel free to ask any questions. The car has been owned by just two Bimmersport owners for the last 13+ years. I am after 10K 0211 88 77 33 For sale on Bimmersport only at this stage. Cheers, Dan Covered in Pollen in these photos taken today. Usually a little more shiny.
