  1. Last genuine set I saw sell went for $2200. And that was cheap. Plenty of reps around though.
  2. Otherwise feel free to send me the drive and I will fill it up with movies for you. Issue is my movies are all HD and range from 6gb to 20gb per movie. But should be able to get 10 to 15 new releases on there for you.
  3. Programs, Movies and so on. Unless they are home videos?
  4. ROFL. I purchased a brand new Mtech wheel for $350 from the US. That one is stuffed.
  5. Agree. Give us a list Glenn. Some of us may already have everything you need. Would save time.
  6. O2 Sensor goes away a little when the car is warm. It is the most common issue with these old Brobarus.
  7. Usually caused by a stuffed Oxygen Sensor on those things. Rough Idle, Poor Economy, loss of power.
  8. Hi I have one. Not sure what I want for it.
  9. Back in my teenage to mid twenty years just about everyone I knew was into cars of one type or another. We all did our own repairs. Went on our own cruises. Went to every track day we could even the drag strip. Queen street on the weekend nights would be dead stopped both ways chock full of done up cars. It would take an hour to get to the bottom. Everyone behaved pretty well too. Even the car events like the 4 & Rotors would back SH1 up from Meremere Drag strip to the Bombays and take hours to get there. Now days. It is dead. Event car parks are only half full. Queen Street only sees a handful of cars. Numbers look like they have dropped right off everywhere. I see a fraction of done up cars that I once saw when driving around.
  10. Does it have a tow bar and can I borrow it twice a year for race events?

    E34 M5

Yeah I was going to see if I could have made a trade. Not keen on the color but that mileage made it okay.
  12. Yeah stopped going a while back. The Speedshow is worth it though. Even though they have stuff all for sale these days.
  13. If the seller has left the country go after the company. If the company is no longer trading ask how the car made it through compliance. Get an engineers report and get ready for a court battle.
  14. Then at least you can drive it to your place before stripping it. Can sell all the bits after. And it will prob still be registered.
  15. You are best trying to buy new or get lucky on Ebay.
  16. Mtech 1 & 2 E30's annoy E36 M3 owners. Because they are in the same price bracket. But not in the same performance bracket.
  17. Was thinking about this and realised the reason I never go to meets anymore is because there is no race cars. I have weekend long meets in the race series. Though I would like to see the older classics parked up.
  18. Yeah a few bottles of JD's and they slide through. But the importer/seller is responsible for anything that was not disclosed. The rules changed in 2003 for frontal impact. I think you were liable for up to 7 years. If it was flagged as a damaged vehicle upon entry to the country it would require a repair cert to be complied. If it was flagged as a damaged vehicle once being complied it would also require a repair cert. However the compliance company decides if they want to declare it or not. If there is no flag at all. Then I would be looking at a court case against the Complier and Seller if you can prove this damage should have been picked up.
  19. I miss the meets of the old days. We used to be able to get 25 Silvias with 20 mins notice just by TXT. Then that was all ruined by the new crowd that came along with D1NZ mentality. They expected everyone to be skidding around every corner. My Mrs even ran a few Mega meets where we had over 100 cars turn up each year from all over the country. Some mates and I still privately hire Taupo track each year. But we no longer invite random people as we run an open pit and we must trust the skill of everyone we invite. For some reason I presumed the ECC meets would all be poorly lowered E class Mercs, 520i's on 24's, MK3 Golfs with roof racks and some stupid bicycle on top. Am I wrong? Maybe I should go sometime. I didn't realise people from here helped run it. As for Bimmerfest. Well maybe next year. Hire Taupo. Get BMW Club and Bimmersport on board.
  20. They are expensive and very rare. New would be your best option. Pelican Parts or a similar site.
  21. Check with Brent at BMW world. I found a 2nd hand BMW style fitment towbar for my E39 a while back.
  22. Find a complete car. Easier than just a shell. A cheap 318 auto in good condition. Then swap all your bits over.
  23. Haha yeah I am a bit worried about my ratio in the E34 too. Try Kayne Barrie. He would be your best source. Brent at BMW World also may have something.

    e30 m325

Others have sold for around that price recently.
  25. It is all about the production numbers. And what about if you already have the other models and are missing one of these. It is like baseball cards for the rich.
