James didn't say that. He said it would take a lot of thinking. But that they only worked with the three of them. So many rumors of other networks throwing money at them now. And the police want to get involved over a small biffo... PC bullshit. If someone hit me at work I would hit them back. Then settle it over a beer.

Think AMG prices x 2.
-
Whoever purchased that car will regret it. It will cost more than he paid in maintenance in less than two years. That is why it was cheap.

TBH Clarkson and Harris should just create their own show. The only thing better than one over opinionated, egotistic, arrogant wanker thrashing cars for TV is Two of them. It would make great TV or even internet TV.
-
You will just have to build them as you go. As you know there is stuff all room on the drivers side. Get the engine in position with all the down pipe on. Then design from there. Or there will be headaches.

Shouldn't it be $28K. I heard thats what they go for Just needs a CSL badge. Good luck.

It will be missed. Very few shows I enjoy these days. The more car shows the better. 5th Gear is a bit dry most of the time. But I would still rather watch that before bed than anything on TV1/2/3/4/% The only replacement I would accept would be Chris Harris. Because he is just as much of an arrogant opinionated wanker as Clarkson. But they are suggesting Chris Evans. The twat from Radio 2. But he just won't fit in.

If they made a kit like that for the E34 I would prob go for it for the race car.

Would you date someone because of what car they drive?

Yeah I agree man. Nothing worse than having some muppet (Girl or Guy) forcing their way into a convo when they know nothing of the topic. I know few people like this. A few BMW related people too. They always tend to name drop people of no relevance. -

It always makes me laugh when they think they can keep their toys. So many mates of mine have said they are keeping their cars. Within a year its gone. Let them grow up a little. Get another car in 5 - 10 years if you are lucky. -

I managed to rope a Mrs who would rather have a race car than kids. I am happy with this. -

I did know girls many years ago that would go out with the guy purely on what car they had. They were only good for a tap and gap though. -

You already know my answer I think Jon. Currently Sam's car is faster than mine. -
You can then advertise it as having reliable power and no oil leaks
-
Just wrap it. That way when it is time to sell you can return it to standard. One thing that devalues a classic is a repaint that isn't factory color.

Buy James'. Get a replica kit (replica car so who cares). Wheels of your choice. Have $15 left over to maintain/tidy/paint.

http://www.trademe.co.nz/851350099 It will take me a bit to convince her away from replacing this with an E46 however.
-
Even got the Mrs liking it. I need to sell at least two first. You don't want a nice E60 530D do you? Perfect for long drives.
-
Dan Slater at Slater Fabrication had a few big boxes he was going to use. Might sell. Otherwise ebay mate. Can get them landed for just over $1k
-
So he is fishing for an idiot? Good luck to him. Have seen it happen a number of times. Idiots are everywhere.
-
Hmm I want it. But I am trying to get rid of cars not buy more. Would go well towing around my 535is.

Agree. They will quickly find it costs way too much to chase the money. Customs will not want to do this for free. Delays and fees will cause much grief. Everyone goes on about supporting NZ Companies. Just because a retail store is in NZ doesn't make it a NZ company. The Mrs and I purchase nearly all our wearable items and electronic goods from overseas. We save hundreds per year. To buy the same items in NZ you would be buying them from an Australian Owned retail store. Economies of scale dictate our prices. NZ can never compete with online sales from Europe and the US.

$27K. Nope. Looks okay for an 8 though. Not so barge like.
