    5 Million

4 Mil into Eroad shares. IPO is beginning of next month 1 Mill to play with. Travel and Toys. No interest in buying a house in Auckland.
  2. You borrowed James drill didn't you. Haha. All that practice on Friday night.
  3. Sorry mate. Was racing in the Endurance Series all weekend. Only around after 6:30pm this week. Flat out busy all other times.
  4. I have one. Couple actually. $40 I am in Torbay on the Shore. Txt me on 0211 88 77 33
  5. Hey mate. I have a manual steering rack. Based in Auckland though and don't have a lot of spare time to organise shipping. $100 and it is yours.
  6. Nice these are great fun. Careful with leaving the brand Tom. You may have to leave European cars altogether to get what you are looking for. Merc, Audi, Porker is all the same and have more expensive parts.
  7. Most ACS cars like M\\\ cars are just modified versions of the mass produced model. That car may well have one or two ACS parts. Often that is enough to have a badge slapped on the back by the dealer. Much like the M\\\ cars. Some ACS cars look to be prepared by ACS themselves. Or under contract to install the parts. These ones are more like Ambers.
  8. Not if they use timing belts. That tech is long gone in the world of BMW's
  9. So how did it go? Good number of people wandering through? How did people react to the scholarship mobile. I was going to come along just to see the BMW stand. But I felt last year that there was a real lack of trade stands. Was more of a static race car display. Of cars I see actually racing.
  10. Have for sale a full set of black leather sports seats from a coupe E30 M325i. Comes with two fronts seats, the two piece rears and both sets of front and rear door cards. Can also have the black A pillar covers if yours does not already have them. The front seats are a little worn. And the drivers seat has a split right on the stitching as shown in the photos. With some effort the seats could be revived pretty well. The back seats are mint and have no wear. The rear seats also have head rests which is not so common. $800 firm. 0211 88 77 33
  11. Find a better example. The only thing cheap about it to me is the price to have the valve stem seals replaced. But the E60 is a great car. Love mine. Superior in every way to my old E39 540 but still keeps that 5 series feeling you had from the E39.
  12. Would just spend the 10K on suspension and widening the body work of my E34. Actually that is prob enough to tube the front end and change all the panels and bumper to fiberglass. I will eventually do something like this to the front of mine.
  13. Right hand drive from Canada? Unlikely unless it was imported to Canada from GB, JP, AU, NZ or SEA.
  14. Good to see Dave. Not long to go now. Hows Stevo's car coming along?
  15. There are some brutal Pot Holes on Oteha Valley road just after the 2nd round about heading from Torbay. The rain had caused them to get quite deep. They have been patched a number of times. Be careful when it rains if you are driving through.
  16. Read his showroom post. Upgraded again to an E63 AMG.
  17. Yeah I would much rather an E90 than an E92. While in Mission bay on the weekend a number of E92's went past. Followed by an E90 in Blue. Instantly wanted it. Looked so much more aggressive than the 92's. And what a awesome color. Strange really as I would say the opposite for all previous 3 series models. I also like the new M3 over the M4. Suites well as it has the correct badge.
  18. You're right. When I say cheap I meant around the 50K mark. Way outside what I would want to spend. I am yet to see anything even close to the $40K mark that I would want to own.
  19. I did dream about bring over an E90 M3 from the UK. They are so cheap. Wouldn't bother with an E46 M3 because of this. Though mostly because I just can't be stuffed with a coupe anymore.
  20. Pretty sure the NZ government was offered this by the Americans after WW2. They Declined for whatever reason. Would be more to it and I am interested to know the whole story if anyone knows. It takes too long to get improvements passed and built in this country. Are they being shortsighted? No. They don't want their budget to look bad. Cheapest option every time. Aucklands infrastructure is choking. Introduce a congestion charge for the CBD. Use ALL of this to improve roading infrastructure. Build a new harbor crossing now. Pay for this by Automated cheap to run Tolling system. Keep it there for as long as possible using funds to pay debt and improve other areas and maintenance. Have all motorway work done 24/7 until complete. E.g. One extra lane between Oteha Valley Road and Constellation Road on SH1 is meant to take 2 years! The traffic is beyond a joke until they finish. They don't work past 4pm. There doesn't seem to be many working on the project. Seen them on a Saturday maybe 3 or 4 times. Edit. Good luck getting money for broken car parts. If they don't just ignore you. They will tell you to claim on your insurance.
  21. Come join the Turbo E34's in the BMW Race series. 600BHP should put a smile on your face.
  22. The dolly usually works with the tractor unit automatically. But this looks like someone was manually controlling it. And they either failed to straighten it up after the corner. Or something failed and they had no control.
  23. They can keep it all if the at cost parts is brought back I do remember about the trophies now though. Other stuff I had no idea about.
  24. Someone wasn't doing a good steering job with the dolly.
  25. They did. But that was all thanks to Gerry Hodges I think. It was for sponsored parts. But that sadly stopped a while back. Have to buy aftermarket and from overseas now. BMW don't seem to take much notice of the largest race series by far in NZ and possibly the Southern Hemisphere. They may sponsor some behind the scenes things I am unaware of but most support seems to come from employees who work there and are apart of the series. Some of the dealers have offered some discounted parts. Trade prices. But there is no current models racing. So other than parts and brand love they may not get much out of the series other than a ton of exposure which they may not really need as there is already plenty.
