  1. Looks like from what I can see, replace the front bumper (looks like the fog lights are still perfectly fine as well, new grills and possibly a new drivers high beam, new guard or panelbeat it then you have got a nice M325i there. Wouldn't cost much at all if that's all it is, doesn't look like there's even any damage to the radiator.
  2. I noticed this as well on a related note. http://www.stuff.co.nz/national/8840946/Pa...t-racist-enough
  3. 540i touring across the street from my old school (Fairfield College), me and my friends were all sitting around our cars (2 E30s and my E36) after school one day when we saw it pull into the driveway. Quite enjoyed that sight.
  4. I just took in how much alcohol there is on the table and how the majority of it seems to have evaporated from the bottles. How a proper web developer should work
  5. Just sounds like it needs adjusting. They're real easy to do, done them plenty of times for my mates drift car to tighten it right up. Makes for a funny job when you tighten it the wrong way and go to pull up the handbrake then it stands upright.
  6. Beat me to it haha, as soon as I saw the thread I thought of this video.I'm sad to say I have a few friends who drive like this all of which drive things such as Lancers, Ceffys or Hondas.
  7. If I didn't already have a similar car I would be taking it at this price, good luck with the sale, great car for the money from the looks. For Hondafit you could get an alrightish 320i or 318i E30 at that sort of price but would struggle to find a 325i especially specd like this for that price.
  8. I know they aren't based on a production chassis but they do still use the shape of a production car as the actual shell around the outside which is what I was referring to when I mentioned the C7.But didn't know that they competed in DTM as I haven't actually looked into DTM all that much.
  9. Oh true, didn't actually know that, explains the sound then. Will be curious if that ends up being true then as to what Audi will bring to the field in terms of the car, Would say we'd be looking at a C7 shell, but would be strange since they don't actually make RWD cars and actually have said they refuse to make them, they wouldn't be manufacturer backed if that's the case.
  10. Damn how I wish I had the money for this right now. Exactly the sort and condition I'm hoping to get in the near future.
  11. Would love to see BMW join in, would be good to bring a bit of Euro rivalry amongst the Australian rivalry in the same series. Will be interesting to see these Volvos either way though. Will be interesting to hear their engines as well, I wouldn't be surprised if they go for a OHC engine rather than pushrod like Merc have done. Still can't decide if I like the sound of those Merc engines amongst the V8s though, went to Pukekohe and didn't quite sound right.
  12. http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/used-cars/...n-602113368.htm A friend just linked me to this, has anyone seen it around or anything, a friend looking at getting it (then changing the wheels), not sure on it though being that low in price.
  13. These are pretty awesome Having a read through of the E30 sales brochure now, will have to download my favourites.
  14. I looked into this a while ago too. Was keen on getting the M20 up to some decent figures but unless you have a whole lot of money you will struggle to get much over 200whp sort of figures (From what Ive read at least). As said an S50 would be the way to go, Im the same and want a euro NA which can show up my mates jappa turbos.
  15. I'm sadly working but my mate should be taking his drift R32 out, possibly another friend taking his 180sx out as well.
  16. Took the lexus styled tail lights out of the girlfriends E36 and put in standard ones because those things are just ugly. Found that the previous owner had cut one of the wires as the pin was in the wrong place and BMW tail lights being how they are I had to solder a wire to the light housing to get it working. Went through 6 fuses before I found out I should attach it to the light housing itself not the bulb holder. Looks much better now and has reverse lights which actually work.
  17. Arrived today as well. Couriers delivered them to the neighbors house even though my address was on the packaging -.- Will have to get some pictures of them on the car at some stage
  18. Haven't heard too much about these but the little bit I have heard are good. Coby headers http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/car-parts-...n-602127643.htm
  19. I can get to the forums perfectly fine but the rest of the site seems to be down for me. Tested both at home and Tech
  20. If you were still after it, should be a DIN53LMF.They're not hard to match up, you look moreso at the physical size of the battery rather than the CCA rating because you can never have too much CCA as the car will only draw what current it needs and you're just increasing the cut off point. Would never recommend getting one of the cheapo batteries either.
  21. Never had any problem with front fogs personally. Can definitely understand how they would dazzle though and didn't know about them actually technically being illegal to have on during the day. My pet hate for lights will always be the HIDs in reflector housings. So often even when they're factory fitted, will someone be following me with HIDs in a reflector housing and they blind me, aftermarket fitted in a projector housing like E30 don't hit as hard as these standard reflector housings do. Never had the misfortuine of following someone with rear fogs on though
  22. That actually came out real nice. Looking in at an E39 soon and depending on the condition of the trim may have to follow this guide myself when I get it. Cheers.
  23. Being in Hamilton as well and riding a motorbike these are often on the corners, many times have they threatened to take me out while in a lean on the bike. They've finally started repairing most of them though, noticed today on the way to work I didn't get the usual, horrid bumpiness leaving my street. At least they accepted liability and are fixing it for you though there, always takes forever to get these things done.
  24. Working for Supercheap myself, we hardly have any of these come back so the build quality definitely seems to be good but I don't know why it comes with the paint kit as for extended painting you want to use a belt driven compressor. Not right up with the trade knowledge only the limited that we are taught at work, they definitely seem to be a decent compressor for home use though. I know the tools we sell also say the recommended amount of L/min on the packaging for using them.
  25. Had the same thing happen to my drivers window not long ago. Pull the motor out and see if it works that way, try with switch. Mine was completely seized and would work slightly if I helped it by hand. HellBM quoted me a new motor for $40 for a 2 door so would recommend give them a PM
