Ah, we had a "house paint brown" one of these babies... It had a manual crank, someone had installed a desk lamp into the engine bay, and it didn't work for more than two hours consistently. But it was OUR Morris. Loved that car! Good luck with yours!

If you need it fast, BNT, and many automotice transmission and general parts shops will have what you need, there will even be some open on Sundays if you look.

Not always true. I had a hairline crack in my m20, that was gradually depositing ALL my oil into my cooling system, I had no loss of power, no smoke issues, no heating issues or anything, when I checked my oil, it had totally drained into the cooling system. The crack was so minor that it would only push oil through the crack when the oil system was under extreme pressure (ie motor running) but the crack was too small for it to allow coolant/water back through the crack into the motor. Flush it properly, and check to see if it is depositing oil.

Cheers all! That night was a craaaazy one! Rocky horror picture show brings out the worst in casino prowlers. I thought those photos had disappeared... Welding is going good

Facelift Getrag 260 on Pre Facelift motor.

Gearbox is a single piece, so removing bellhousings would be a much bigger hassle than shipping boxes around, a lot of cutting and welding is needed, but obviously anything is achievable. Diagram Also, you can have the sensors drilled in/attached, a few places do it, the most hassle free option is to get the box with the sensors already, either way! Who know's, it might cost you the same to have the sensors installed as it would to ship boxes around. -
Cheers, Will look at options, have sent a few PM's.

In the market for a Motronic 1.0 flywheel. Must have lug on the perimiter for the belhousing sensors in a motronic 1.0 system. I am aware of all the various after market options, custom made ones, etc. Please let me know if you have anything.

Then something is not being done correctly, or something is faulty.

That above method is just getting too complicated. Sorry, just have someone pump the clutch upon your instruction, and bleed it. Pump, hold, unscrew, tighten, release. Repeat. Until it's flowing, no bubbles, clear fluid. Leave the cap off the reservoir also. As mentioned above, could be the MC, the lines, or your not bleeding it properly, IE someone sucked fluid back in with the pedal, and its messing the process up all the time.

Yes I suspect it was drink driving too, they had a huge blitz one the St Lukes off ramp yet again, but this time they had their bike rider with them, watched him chase down someone trying to leg it after the checkpoint, that car is still on the motorway too.

Spotted a nice 8 series stranded on the side of the motorway last night, near Avondale off ramp, it looked lonely, I almost did a U turn through the barrier, I love those cars! Was a dark grey/silver colour.

In you're tidy bullet points, I noticed you did not mention you have not found any vacuum leaks. I would say give your hoses/gaskets a good look over, vacuum leaks play havoc with e30s, or any car for that matter. They can cause difficulty starting, they can also cause high idle, to name a few things. No harm in trying the new valve too however.

Price on radiator if you don't mind me asking? The rest sounds good Photos will be great,

Clutch fan is a 5 minute job. Slap on an adjustable wrench, useless for just about everything except this. Give it a tight wack in the CORRECT direction, unscrew. Replace, tighten. Done.

Woops! How did I miss that one!

What the hell is going on here? Interesting...

I LOVE the inside Dave! Looks fantastic. (Like the outside too)

Looks like two completely different cars crashed into each other and fused. I have however seen one of these oddballs before...
