  1. Keep spotting a white 4 door schnizter e30 in the waitakere's, always through Glen Eden is when I spot it. Looks good, has AC wheels and exhaust.
  2. I voted yes because I still technically buy CD's from Itunes, I'm not so fussed about physical CD's. However when it comes to Ps3 games I need to have the hard copy on the shelf haha. I like Itunes for music because of its prices.
  3. Yesterday, at around 1:30PM Spotted a two tone Maroon/black e30 coupe pulled over in Silverdale. Was jam packed full of people, had black rims with polished lip, anyone on here?
  4. Exactly, in L-jet I've seen the spring malfunction and cause a low limiter. But in both cases, l-jet or motronic I wouldn't rule out the AFM. I've had this crap out on me before too, and in all respects in sounded like an electric REV limiter but the AFM had totally given up.

Most common cause for wheel hop is the front diff bolt or other mounting bolts coming loose, will shake the diff during loss of traction.
  6. Simon, Wheels are similar to this : Didn't say much, was just sitting quietly not moving with a "for sale" sign on the back
  7. Saw Gus' old 318iS turbo in the carpark outside the navy base in devonport, sorry I forget who the current owner is. I like the new wheels.
  8. Yesss another hartge, although I'm only rocking the front(And mines P/fl obviously) Looks good dude!

    I'm back

Why for the love of god did you not take more photos of the guy in the Lederhosen!!?!?! Great photos by the way, I was there in Germany visiting my family last December and dropped into Munich just to go to BMW museum/world. Its a hell of a lot more than that now! BMW World is free (and fantastic) but the museum is about $25 euro pp extra if you want a guy telling you whats what. (At least that's what it was when I went)
  11. Ah I see, just wanted to get my point across ha! Anything above 90 is infact too high, so the next logical step your taking would be mine too - Thermostat. Good luck.
  12. But what was the temperature I ask this because if the temperature was within range you've identified the problem! That would mean that its a faulty sender/gauge. I am aware that they are probably good at what they do but they are people. Did you atleast ask them what the readings were? Edit: you cant "hear" water heating up, or a thermostat not opening, or electrical current traveling through temperature sensors, or cluster gauges incorrectly displaying temperatures. I'm not trying to sound obnoxious, but if you do find that its within range you could be hacking away at your motor trying to identify a problem that you've ruled out and never found.
  13. My e30 is drawing current for its stereo, amp and window relay, the battery almost had full charge after over a month of sitting. Have you checked the battery..?
  14. O.k. First of all, you went and checked the temperature of all hoses/pipes etc around the motor? What temperature did they give back.. I assume you recorded it, because if its sitting at 90C (or there about) this correct running temperature. Did you test the pipes after a drive? Did they vary largely in temp? Did you check when it said the gauge is at 3/4? Did you check when it was at 1/2 way? Thermostats are prone to fail, even straight out of the box. I would stick with Gavin's product (EuroItalian) or go OEM, for a little extra their better in the long run vs those of BNT or similar places. If you do need to replace the water pump the cambelt will have to come off. Don't re-use the belt as they should only be used once. The belt is cheap and there's no harm in replacing it again. Did you re-bleed your cooling system again anyway? This can cause all the symptoms you are experiencing. Even the mechanics can mess up bleeding an m20. They can be a BIG pain. Edit: If it were me, even if it turned out to be the thermostat or another problem, I would go back and replace the water pump anyway for piece of mind. Their not that pricey from Gavin, and its a quick job if you have the know how.
  15. A bit late, but last week Monday, I was heading onto the motorway at Avondale, and you had just come off at the same on/off ramp, I flashed my lights, you waved, we had a moment. Who was it? Edit: car was an Mtech2 M325i
  16. Have you bleed the system correctly? Edit: If you answer no, do it again. If you answer yes, do it again.
  17. You make me smile Ashkan. You ask what to do? How about going back in time to stop yourself being a moron in the first place?
  18. Couldn't agree more with the above, Will is the foremost expert on e30's. Bar none.
  19. Regarding point 3. You can still use your RC, and still request a serial for for the RC up until the 21st of October. You cant download the file anymore however. And you can get as many keys as you want, just keep refreshing the page and it spawns a different key everytime. So if you have it. Do it.
  20. I love it, being using it since the BETA came out, stoked that the RC wont run out till March. Its so good infact I think I may buy a copy!
  21. Oh yes you do David! And boy oh boy is it gonna be a good month! You could always give me one of your nice beauties, I'll take a picture of it and you can look that for a month
  22. My car goes quite well thank you very much! I get especially excited about this October
