Yeah... all $2 of the "large tax cut" we get promised... My 325i gets 350km to the tank with hard driving, and over 600km when cruising on the highway The tank is what... 62L? so between 5.6 and 10ish km/L

Antallica has a point Manual conversion could cost less than 3k, depending how much the box etc is you manage to get your hands on

not a bad price. good luck, dude

Jeddy's right. This isnt such a big deal, but it may be if the other states take this policy on. Environmental reasons is bollocks... I thought most of their cars peak efficiency would be at about 130, 140kmh

Will this kill my gearbox?
Young Thrash Driver replied to Young Thrash Driver's topic in Maintenance
And I was looking for a manual, but ended up with the auto coz manual 328s or 325s were just too damn expansive for me at the time Haha got a manual now tho, hense the 325 being for sale. This may be blasphemy, but I went and got a '96 Mitsi Lancer GSR. About as quick as a 328is, handles better, blah blah... just doent have the penis value of of owning a BMW or the fecking crazy brakes -
Will this kill my gearbox?

Well sure. Better to know if somethings wrong than trying to keep quiet about it I reckon. OK, thanks guys. No more manual sounding auto then lol -
Brand new Phillips... Vision Plus, or something. Same wattage and voltage as printed on the OE bulbs. The 1st low beam that blew, I actually got an OE one from Jeff Grey in Palmy. Both low beams have blown, two for the left, one on the right. High beam was right hand side. Fog light was right hand side tooMost of my drivings night driving, but 3 low beam bulbs is stupid!
-
My 1994 E36 325i has gone thru 1 high beam bulb, 3 low beam bulbs, one brake light bulb, one numberplate bulb, one reverse bulb, and one fog light bulb. I've done about 50000km, and owned the car for about 16 months. Does this sound like she's got electrical gremlins?
-
To make the car sound manual, I've taken to shifting her down a gear, waiting about 1sec, and tapping the gas. This revs her as she drops the gear, sounds kinda neat. Also, doing it gently on slippery surfaces prevents compression lock. I'm wondering... is this a sin? Will this result in me having a munted gearbox?

Worth... prolly 3 mil. Flippin B-E-A-UTIFUL!!!
