What caused it to lose control? Rear lockup under brakes or something?
-
Hardest thing about the back is the subframe bushes. The other trailing arm bushes and dogbones are a piece of cake. One thing to also check is the strut mounts. I had an OEM replacement go on me in under 5000k. Was so pissed off just ended up nolathaning both of them...take that strut mount! The rear struts are easy as pie to remove if you need to replace them

Unfortunately....yes

Video of me following Ashkan in his e30 racecar

A video with slicks...without spinning and offing! *edit* - I also have some video of me following to get Ashkan to get him some footage (but he doesn't know it yet haha). Will upload shortly!

Nice price on M5 diff -
Taking forever to sort out the videos. In the mean time watch my f**k up with cheap chinese tyres and terrible driving skills haha. Thankfully it dried up later in the day so I could fit the slicks!

I had no idea that was Dylans!!! Looked bloody nice

I got my brake lines local in Auckland, cant remember the place though. I also suggest Motul 5.1...has served me well!

Excellent day. Loved the fact that it dried up! Will post videos once edited/uploaded

I would put the pressures to your normal ones on the road and lower them once you hit the track. Then on your way home stop off at the mobil gas station and put the pressures back up. I have a pressure gauge you can borrow tomorrow

+1....I am one of the scared shitless people haha

Thanks for clearing this up (and for the slick!). I guess possible passengers just require overalls, closed footwear and a helmet (provided the car in question is allowed passengers).

What are the conditions that will be applied for this to happen? Cheers
