Based on your description and my experiences it sounds like the 'brake bomb' in your car might need replacing. Would pay to get this checked out

Good stuff. Suggestion #1 put engine back together and take off by jamming in gear with handbrake on Suggestion #2 try jam it up the best you can and get a mate to use a long lever to try and turn it Suggestion #3 air tools and jamming it up?

And to bring up an old thread. I have a mate who is looking into the following example on TM CLICK ME. Is there any thing additional to the above which is worth noting? Does anyone know of a good place in CHCH to get a pre-purchase inspection and what are peoples opinions on the price. The link provided by Mark in the first thread is dead. As Johno said easiest way to check is take them off and have a look. Mine are e39 fitment and Type II. I believe Lance (melowpuf) has genuine type I e34 fitment, but cant remember if his were staggered. Perhaps PM him or wait for him to chime in

The rear exhaust in the track photo is crap! They could have made it look a bit better...but I guess as long as it flows well who cares right?
