At the Old Fendalton shops eh. You should be able to afford a Tech II if you live around that way.

Lenses are far more important than the camera body itself. And talent is far more important than the quality of your gear. Film SLR's use the same principles as Digital SLR's do so you can apply what you learnt at school easily enough.

Reported listing too! Ha! I love how he says on Brent's auction "of course they're metric, what else would they be??!!"

You're allowed to drive on the track without helmets?

I decided to repaint my chrome bumpers, because the muppet who originally painted them did so by simply painting lacquer over the nice polished chrome. Which meant after 5 minutes they looked like this: So, over the past couple of weekends I've repainted them myself with aerosol cans. Process was: 1) Sand old paint off with 80 grit 2) Keep sanding old paint off with 80 grit 3) Sand 4) Bandage up hands torn up from sanding / drink a beer 5) Sand a bit more 6) Remove all sanding dust and other crap with wax and grease remover 7) Spray with etch primer 8) Leave to dry then wet sand with 800 grit 9) Remove sanding dust again with wax and grease remover 10) Spray with custom tinted topcoat (Diamond Schwartz) 11) Wet sand / wax and grease remover 12) Spray with 4 coats of clearcoat. 13) Leave to dry for 24 hours (time for more beers) and polish with rubbing compound. Turns out like this (haven't polished yet in this pic): Looks pretty good, although I threw my toys when I slightly chipped the finish mounting the rear bumper on the car!!! Â Also, I replaced the front bumper entirely as it had the cancer: Why did BMW decide metal bumpers were a good idea? The rear wasn't so bad, so I wirebrushed all the rust off, used rust converter and then protected with fish oil. Finishing touch; the pointless round bung thing in the ACS rear apron. Not sure what it's for (world's tiniest tow hook access perhaps), but the paint had flaked off so I repainted it. Second pic shows what a good match the paint is. Here's a shitty teaser. Proper photoshoot / calendar entry to come once we get a fine day down here.

I'd totally rock the Schnizzles... Genuine wheels are far better than replicas regardless.

Hope you don't know any car-skanks that wear white pants. They'll be pissed off.

Looks mint on the weaves... Did you end up painting the spoiler yourself?

Looks like a tidy car and well priced. Good luck with the sale.

That looks fantastic. Black grilles are a neat addition. Just needs the finishing touches and that is one hellishly tidy car! Well done.

Randomly loosing all power, and then randomly getting it back again.

Take it to DCH Motorsport... Graham Clyde knows everything about E30's. Lot's of local members cars are regulars there. -
I heel-toe downshift everywhere. Brake > blip barrrrrrrrrr > blip barrrrrrrrrr > pull into carpark at mall.

You North Islanders are taking the brunt of it for us... it'll just be a trickle by the time it hits us. Seriously though... I work in radio and we've been told to get the Civil defence warning siren ready to play. Yikes.

My cam was just over $200 to have reground when I did mine. I guess since you have two it will be twice that? I'll dig out the itemised bill from when I had all my head work done on the M20, may help to give you a rough idea. As always, prepare for the worst when the head comes off. I was initially quoted 2k, ended up being 3.5k.

Looks the shizz Nick... good choice!

Protecta warranties have similar exclusions. At the end of the day it is a "mechanical" warranty, and as such it is mainly engine and drivetrain problems that are covered.

With regards to painting... it's pretty easy. Spray cans have come a long way. I've just resprayed my bumpers using some custom mixed spray can top coat and some clear coat lacquer. As long as you wet sand between coats and polish the clear coat with rubbing compound you can get a really good finish.Â

With regards to the window problem: First check it's not a faulty switch by swapping it with the passenger window switch. They pop out easily with a flathead screwdriver.

There is no such thing as M Spec pistons and crankshafts.... not for the M42 anyway. -
I didn't unfortunately.... I've taken my car apart to repaint the chrome bumpers and window trim. Will certainly take some once that's all done.
-
Jed, your car is the shizz mate. Thanks for letting me photograph it!

The kit is a pf/l AC Schnitzer, the chrome bumpers have been painted... like mine. P.S: headlights = gross
