^^^ Stop getting involved in Police chases with road spikes and it won't keep happening!

Think of all the wasted time / money / effort / lame-ass look of the finished product. Some things haven't been done before for a reason. Buy a coupe.

I just realised this is the car that Atta looked at when he was searching for an E30. Was being sold privately then. He took it to DCH Motorsport for a look over and they told him it had had a massive shunt at some point and most of the front end has been cut and shut from another car. They basically told him not to touch it with a really long pole of the barge variety. That's so funny, because we both commented on this very car in Andre's Tech I pics thread yesterday and didn't realise it was one and the same. I was going to have a look at it today.... not any more!

^^WOW! Gonna go check that out tomorrow!

It's $20 a bottle at Safe R Brakes. That's where I got mine from. Mods sound great Atta... I'm painting trim and bumpers this weekend so won't be checking out the day... have fun all!

Do you call it your "rareview" mirror because you hardly ever use it?

Anyone want to sell their the BMW 525i bracket piece so I can use the BMW 520i bracket part? Ray?
-
I've been looking for one of these for ages. Apparently they're a great upgrade from the part of the BMW 325i bracket.

Sit tight, trawl Trademe and eBay in the States and Germany non-stop and be sure to have cash ready so you can pounce when one pops up! Good luck!

Pull cluster and replace bulbs. Pull out OBC (check control) and replace bulbs. The bulbs differ according to the manufacturer of the OBC and cluster (BMW used a few different companies over the production period of the E36), you have to use the right ones or they won't work. The bulbs and holders cost about $8 each from the dealer. There will be DIY's on the net on how to do both jobs. The OBC is easiest.

1st pic = Sportmaxx maybe? 2nd pic = Borbet Type A's (Johnno (Zenetti) has reps for sale at the moment) 3rd pic = Dunno 4th pic = BBS RS with custom lips. The tyres look "funny" because they are stretched so they fit without guard rub.

I've seen enough flesh in the above photo to last me a while.

Tri-colour M stitching? Mmmmmmmm Let me know how it turns out, my gaiter has a tear in it and needs replacing.

sh*t song sh*t editing sh*t repitition of footage Nice car though.

Shouldn't damage anything. DOT 5.1 can replace DOT 4 in any car I believe. I use it in the E30 and it hasn't caused any problems. Simply stops fluid boil when I take it to the track.

Don't ask if you can turn on the radio. Friend of mine did this, the instructor said "that's up to you". He turned it on and got an instant fail. Hadn't even reversed out of the carpark hahah!

Don't spend money at the dealer on those bulbs, you can get them at Super Cheap. Just take the old bulb with you to match it up. The bulb in the light switch is the same as the ones in the heater controls (if you have an early E36 with dial-controls) and the ashtray light. Buy a couple just in case, they're less than 2 bucks each.

The warranty should be through a 3rd party company, which means you can specify an approved repairer for work (Usually any MTA or AA approved repairer). This means you can take it to Jerry Clayton or to most BMW specialists.

Those aren't the right type... he'll need some like these:

Looks as good in the pics as it does in person Atta. I really like the Alpinas, but agree it needs a drop and Alpina centrecaps. After going for a ride in it the other night, I'm now convinced I need an LSD, my diff ratio is far too tall, your car is much more responsive off the line. Great buy too, for what you paid you may as well have stolen it! EDIT: You should have a read of the E30 325i sport buyer's guide in TBMW Mag, it features an immaculate 325i Sport identical to yours. You can borrow my copy if you like... y'know for inspiration.
