It's not Dakar Yellow, but this one in Welly looks mint. He's asking waaaay too much though, I'd say 19-20 grand would be about right in the current market.
-
Well, considering a red one in great nick with 155k's sold for $18k. A silver one in Welly with 135k's on trademe was offered at $19k and a blue one in Queenstown with 205k's is up for sale at $15k... I'd say if it was in nice condition you could drive away in the Dakar yellow one for 15 grand or thereabouts.

Hmmm, an engine misfire, ABS light on, Transmission needs attention. And Aircon "Not applicable"??!! Eh? Didn't know air con was an option on NZ new 328's? Needs a bit of paintwork done too by the looks of things. If you're handy with your tools could be a good buy I guess.

Thank god. How many times is gonna have his account pulled before he gets the hint? Idiot. Anyway, back on-topic. You gonna buy the car Jeddy?
-
I eat them solely for that reason.

Seen the one on Trademe? Clicky

Hmmm, well I guess if the stamp is there they're real. I thought they were reps just because a) the centre caps appear to be blank, genuine ones have the ACS logo etched onto them. And  b ) the spokes on the rep wheels are more rounded than the genuine article. But hey, if they're real, wanna swap? Ha! -

Nice car... but those are replica Schnitzers not the real deal. I have the same ones (see sig). Regardless, good luck with the sale and welcome to the site! -
I agree with you, performance pads do make a difference, but for normal everyday driving in an automatic 318i you don't need them. They're simply unnecessary.
-
My car sports a combo of ACS and M3 bits... they work quite well together actually. Have fun with your quest to make your car look the biz, just take your time and never rush body mods as you can often end up making your car looking as if a whole bunch of parts were just thrown at it with no thought for the end product.
-
Perhaps don't drive at 160kph+ ? (If in fact a 318i can do that speed, and yes I'm sure you'll assure me it can) You have the lightest of the E36 3 series cars, your stock brakes are fine. If you want more pedal feel install some performance brake pads, but the OEM BMW pads are actually considered superior to any others you could install anyway. And as for your blatant show-off attitude about driving at high speed, take it to a track or at the very least remind me when you're out on the roads so I can avoid you.

Sorry Graham, can't hold my tongue any more... it's spelt "LOUD" ... with a U. *takes off spelling nazi hat* Aaahh... that's better. EDIT: I see Bravo beat me to it. See you at the spelling bee sometime yeah?

Most mag and tyre places will do touch up jobs... (sand it smooth, a skim of filler and a bit of a paint touch-up) Had some minor curbage on mine done at Magwarehouse.com in CHCH (now Mag and tyre Direct) for $40.
-
Someone buy it and turn it into an E30 racer!
-
At my last warrant the guy adjusted my headlights... didn't charge me though. I take my car to a testing station though... that way they don't just go ahead and fix stuff that is wrong then charge me an arm and a leg for the privilege.
-
I think all M52 engined cars are OBDII so you need a key with the chip.
-
Yuck... bet it's full of filler.
-
Post of the year!
-
Yeah, I'm looking for some but no one in CHCH has any! Bah!

What's with all these really old poll threads being re-opened again? Weird!!!
