I'm pretty sure.. just call up and ask if they deal with warranties through Vero, they will know the process. May as well make the most of your claim!
  2. Bumpity bump... will chuck on Trademe tomorrow if no one PM's me...

Yeah, could be a busted water pump impeller or a blockage in the cooling system. Good luck mate, gotta love those mechanical warranties! PS: If it's under warranty take it to ChCh BMW... no need to worry about the hefty bills.
  5. Bought this off Trademe last week, polished it up real nice, went to put it on the car and lo and behold it didn't fit. I knew that the exhaust tips on the earlier E36's were a different shape to the later ones but I thought I might be able to squeeze it on anyway. No such luck. This ACS tip is off a 1998 328i, will fit any 328i with stock muffler. I paid $126 incl. postage last week. If any BS member wants it you can have it for $120 with free postage via Courier Post. Would also swap for an early ACS tip if you have one! Cheers!

No worries... good luck with that mate! Also, does your auxillary fan work? Check the fuses to see if they're blown.
  7. I think you'll find that wiring up electric seats on a car with manual ones is a right pain in the ass! Requires running all the wires under the carpet etc...
  8. I love these wheels... but they just don't suit E36's darn it!
  9. I stand corrected.... never knew they were so expensive. They'll look good though!

    Front Guards E36

Pretty sure they're the same.... only different on E38's AFAIK
  11. OMG You're not paying a grand for those are you???!!! People are giving away the OEM headlights on Trademe...just pay someone to chuck the angel eye kit on them!
  12. 328ci 2000 - Trademe This is a hot example... NZ New, manual, good k's, leather and stuff. Not a 330 but the 328's are no slouch.
  13. I like your front lip spoiler... haven't seen one like that before. Yeah side repeaters take two seconds to clip off and on again... no hassles. Can't say I'm a fan of the chrome headlights though... perhaps install your Angel eye kit on a set of stock Bosch units? Regardless, welcome to bimmersport mate!

    Project 325i

I put a couple of bids in for the Hartge one, but then the ACS one was listed and it works so much better with the rest of my mods!
  15. You might also want to note that Dinan is an American Tuner and American M3's came out with a completely different engine to the European models. Hence, they may not offer a chip for your car. Also, as has been pointed out in other threads on this topic, it's worth spending a few extra dollars on having your ECU remapped on a dyno rather than chipping it. Every engine is different and you'll achieve the best results from a tune specifically for your car.

    Okta Touch

Our reps at work were offered them on a trial basis and not one of them took the phone... they all said they would rather carry around both a dedicated PDA and a cellphone than use the Okta!

    Project 325i

Wow... it's been a while since I updated this thread. Finally got around to sorting out my bodywork mods... The mirrors, ACS diffuser and M3 bumper are going into the paintshop next week. Gutted I couldn't get it done in time for the Chch meet this weekend, but it's my own fault for procrastinating! Small (very small) update in this post, here's my new ACS exhaust tip after a good clean and polish. I've wanted one of these for ages, so when one popped up on Trademe I had to have it. Once the rest of the bits are on the car I'll do a photoshoot so you can see the results.
  18. You could Dynamat (sound insulation) the entire boot.... but you'll still have the bootlid rattling on it's hinges, not really any way to stop that!
  19. Glad you got it fixed mate!
  20. Thread failure.... But it's turned out to be funnier than I expected.
  21. Go with a Rieger kit... good quality ABS plastic, no worries with fitment and they look good too...
  22. "PHILFY" is right..... that's a mess!
  23. The American ones still have the KPH markings in between the MPH ones.... That's the proper German OEM way anyway.... won't make any difference at warrant time.
  24. Haha good buy Ray... how much for the interior?
  25. Have you tried visiting Trademe via a proxy? They're sites that - in essence - visit Trademe for you, so your work's internet filter doesn't pick up on it. Type "proxy web surfing" into google.
