  1. Good Lord that looks like sh*t. It may match the silver interior panels though.
  2. Mate, have you tried listing this on trademe? I imagine it would sell very quickly on there. You'd just have to wade through all the flatbrims though to find a good owner.
  3. Hamilton must be a blackhole for postage Hope it's here tomorrow..
  4. Damnit can't wait for mine to arrive!

    E30 dashes.

600 bucks.. Does it have gold lining? Diamond encrusted?
  6. If you're looking for a cheap wheel just so you have some sense of control, look for a secondhand Logitech Driving Force Pro. A lot of online sim racers still use them, and they've got the usual 900 deg force feedback etc. I think I picked up mine for under $90?
  7. My advice is don't cling to suspected release dates, especially if it isn't widespread. Where is the 11th mentioned apart from EB games? I too bought a PS3 just for this game. I can't wait. It was meant to be out today!! Would have been a great way to celebrate the end of exams
  8. The E30 trainspotter in me remembers this being listed as an M325i with about 400,000km a couple of times.
  9. Also (hopefully) leaving Tauranga. The mount loses its charm in oh, about 2.6 seconds.
  10. Thanks for that link. I think some BBS LM-Rs and this would be near perfect. I love big V8s in small cars.
  11. Awesome work mate. Really impressed with the carpet redying. I'll have to give it a try sometime!
  12. Wow that was a lot of traffic. Pukekohe open days scare me sometimes.
  13. If it wasn't done quite so poorly it could look good. Almost like the VW Golf utes. They're ridiculously popular in SA

    Andrews E30 Sedan

Nice rims . I like the colour you went. I'm thinking of getting mine sprayed gunmetal grey, possibly the lips as well.
  15. I was comparing them in the sense of an analogue vs digital car. E39, manual gearbox and a relatively simple drivetrain vs E60 with a million different settings. I have no problem with advancing technology, as long as it doesn't rule a car. I guess I was a bit hasty saying useless technology. Of course it's going to be useful. What I should have said was the ever increasing weight of M cars is eroding brand image. 3 series is now old 5 series weight (almost), 5 series is old 7 series weight etc. I realise this is to do with safety standards and public pressure for loads of equipment, but is there a happy medium? Jaguar seems to make a relatively light car for the size. Off topic, did the US market eventually get a manual gearbox E60 M5?
  16. I'm more looking forward to the 1 series M car TBH, it will be the spiritual successor to the E30 M3, and BMW know that so it should be a corker. This is going to be too fat, too soulless, and I bet it will be filled with useless heavy technology. Fine for the road I guess, but my bet is it will be close to, or over 2 tonnes. E39 M5 had the right formula.
  17. Is there still a chance? 2 x CTB585, no spaces, with the german D on the left hand side.

    My new baby!

When is the rimming and sacking and mean bov-ing gonna happen? Nice car
  19. I dunno, in terms of M325is I prefer the pre-facelift. I think they will become the classic. Not much of a fan of the Tech IIs, I think the standard body with a lip looks nicer.
  20. Done. My flatmate is heading back to Tauranga possibly tonight, so I could get him to pick up if that's ok? PM me your details mate.
  21. As above, mine has carked it. I do not want the feeder pump that feeds the external pump. Cheap as possible please
