Looks mint! Don't see those Alpina reps too often, they look choice. I recognise that driveway.. you didn't have a SA E30 325i for sale a while ago did you?
-
Stumbled upon this site, and even though it's in another language, Google translate helps you make out some of the specs. Click this, now Damn, those crazy Swedes know how to rock massive power.

Very nice line up mate. How cool having an MZ20 for your first car! Nice to see you kept the factory type x kit for your red 180, it looks tits
-
There is this, which I really want to find out more about..

Nooooooo. This was probably my favourite project on Bimmersport. At least while you're young you can go exploring worldwide without having money tied up in a car. edit: My 3.64 was revving at ~2200rpm at 100kmh. I like the ratio -
Jeez I can see why cars can be such a money pit for some people. When you sell cars, do you get back what you paid for/invested in them?
-
Nah, it just happens to look almost exactly the same haha

Have you seen the Hamilton meet pics? It seemed like every second car was a Tech II. But regardless, a M52B28 makes light of those small things
-
+1 to what everyone else said, but also sort out the wonky front right side pod.
-
I'd almost prefer this to a real ferrari.. almost. Only because you can actually drive this car without fear of "what if this happens?", because it's no where near as collectable. Obviously
-
Good Lord. NZ is not the place for those cars. Continental Europe, maybe. Is it just me, or does it look like you'd have to adopt the strangest posture to sit in that Diablo? I'm sure I can manage..
-
Mate picked it up alright, thanks for that! Had to cut it in half, but no biggie. Cheers!

I usually fill my own gas up anyway. It's the masochistic part of me that wants to know how much I'll be stung before I get to the counter. I hate prepay, but I manage to be able to fill up. All I have to do is walk in, wait in the line, tell them I want to fill up, then walk outside again. Annoying? Yes.
-
Go for this one mate: E30 325i Or failing that, give me $2500 and I'll get my e30 to your doorstep haha. Only half joking..

I have no experience taking engines out, nor the equipment needed like an engine hoist. I'm pretty useless, but I learn as I go along. If anyone in Hamilton is able to lend a hand after 24th of June (My last exam), I can offer reward in beer/money/hugs and high 5s all round. Or failing that, if someone is interested in taking the M20B25 out themselves, they can have it for $550 instead of $600+. Motronic 1.3, silent valvetrain, no funny noises.
-
It is still available, but the more I drive it the more I think the price is too cheap vs what the car is worth to me, so unless I get any good offers over $1500 it will be staying with me for a while. I've been tidying it up over the last few months. Back seat is the leather skiport version. PM me an offer, I understand these are relatively rare. Cheers Dietmar

First Legacy GT '90 (Also my first car): Bought the car off a dodgy Indian with a brand new wof. Eventually found out a whole list of things needed replacing, steering rack, lower control arm, and various bits and pieces. Put petrol in, drove the sh*t out of it. No problems, apart from the lifters ticking, which was solved with some Proma MBL8. Sold for ~$600 profit after repairs. BMW 325i E36: Put petrol in, drove. Replaced a vacuum hose. I think the rear window stopped working once. Sold it 3 months after buying it, ~$1200 profit DC2 Honda Si-R coupe: Put petrol in, drove it. Did 10000km without anything even slightly going wrong. ~$1400 profit Second Legacy GT, highly moddded ($20,000 or so in receipts from old owner): Blew gearbox doing a heli. Replaced gearbox + diff for under $300. No other problems apart from that. Sold for ~$1000 profit EG9 B18c Civic. Ran 13.8s: Put fuel in, thrashed the daylights out of it. Didn't have any problems, apart from being goddamned noisy. Sold it a few months later for $~1000 profit. I should have kept that car, mind you it's on trademe now. DC2 Si: 230,000km when I had finished with it. Not one problem. Sold for ~$1300 profit E30s. No problems yet, apart from the odd time when it won't kick into overdrive. I guess I've had good luck, but now that I own an E30 I've braced myself for a life of pain, but hey, it's more of a hobby this way.

I think she'd be stoked getting that much for a 318i. Hell I'd be stoked if I got 2/3rds that much for my 325i! Tidy body though
-
I think Hell BM do a drive in drive out $1500 conversion, if I remember correctly
-
I think he means he likes wheels that were originally made FOR e30s, like Hartges, Alpinas, AC Schnitzer
-
Daamn, lucky I'm not a purist and can manage with my suede OMP wheel
-
And, they're also 18s which is pretty damn big for an E30. That said, if you can make them work, go for it

It's been said before, but very very sick.
