  1. Vodafone finally set us up after a month, Cable internet with Sky and we have 2 Cable routers (One for internet and one seems to be dedicated for the sky) and a 3rd WiFi router. Nice and simple.
  2. I've never checked timing, I have new VANOS seals sitting around to be done at some stage however, It is abit down on power in the lower RPM than what I would expect then from 4000+ pulls hard, Probably a combination of M50 manifold + bad VANOS seals.
  3. My M52B28 is running abit rich at times, especially when engine is cold, can see it is spitting unburnt fuel sometimes and when decelerating it is backfiring when warm. Had it scanned a while back and it came up with an 02 sensor fault about heating (forgot exactly), But I have since replaced MAF and new bosch O2 sensors, Seems to run alot better now but it is still running a tad rich. Have also replaced the coils but they made no difference, also had new spark plugs when it was put into my e30. Idle is fine, it never runs rough or stalls. Probably the M50 Manifold? I have a new air filter and intake to sort out, since I am using a crappy old setup. But any ideas on what else can cause this? I think I will need to hunt for vacuum leaks but I have all new gaskets / hoses throughout the intake.
  4. I've been without internet for a month, Because apparently it takes Vodafone 1 month to hook up Cable. Homos. Worst customer service I have ever dealt with, Only went with them because we wanted Cable. Hopefully hooked up this afternoon finally.
  5. It ain't an e30 24v swap if it doesn't have reliability issues ha.
  6. Anyone got a 80/88 temp sensor switch for e36 radiator? P/N 61 31 8 361 787
  7. I think I saw that vert on Sunday night in Lyall bay. Looked alright
  8. Looks good, Sleeper as. Is this the final look?

    E30 MTech2 Touring

Haha, This swap gave me enough headaches though was easy enough. Don't think an m52 is well suited for a turbo like an m50

    m50 swap parts

Try VASK for a MK1/MK2 golf brake booster. Bolts right in using e30 M/C.

    E30 MTech2 Touring

First clean in a long while, Just got some new VANOS seals going to give the vanos unit a rebuild. And still waiting for some Loom covers, rear trunk gasket and trunk struts to arrive from Schmiedmann. Bought over 2 months and only just shipped so hopefully not too far away.. Quick Duck tape tape job of the wiring loom to the strut brace for the mean time.. The front also sits almost half an inch to an inch higher than it did with m20. Overall alot lighter in the front, So might have to sort that out at some stage.
  14. Nah that is an overflow. Yes it is for e30's, But 318i e30's with the m40. It was never for an m20. You may be able to route the hoses to it the sizes should all be about the same just the lengths and bends won't be right.
  15. That's not a radiator for an m20 that's for a 318i, but they are used with m50's, m40's etc in e36's. The hoses won't line up properly, you will need to ditch the E30 expansion tank, and route the big T hose that goes to it to to bottom of the radiator mounted expansion tank. The top hose won't be needed with the expansion tank on the radiator..
  16. No. You need 51mm strut housings to fit 51mm struts. If you have 45mm ones you need to change the entire strut.
  17. You can DIY it quite easily, All you need to do is cut a 'v' out of the under side of the rear 3 section, and push it closer towards the block so it clears the steering joint, also chop the lower flange and mount it abit further down. The front pipes only need the lower collector part extended further back as it hits the steering rack. That's if you were using the m52 manifolds (which I see you have cut already so can't really use them without rewelding them).
  18. Would be cool to see a Euro powered BMW drifing like they do in Europe.
  19. The only good thing about the e36 is taking their engine and putting it into an e30.
  20. Sunroof up no matter what the weather in a e30 haha. Gotta look good always.
  21. I think you are way off the mark if you only have one window not working, You may want to trace where you are getting power to (faulty switch is possible) or else see if ther is power reaching the window motor and thats where your fault could be.
  22. Yours sounds entirely different, If you get power at the switches and others are working it's not the same as this issue. Check the connector between the door and pillar by the hinges. Probably corroded connectors.
