Thank god you dont have metallic enamel paint or whatever my cars have been.... gard- x KILLS old re-spray areas over time, and even some original paint. Apparently it's designed for water- based car paint only.

Snob thread alert! arent these just stories of everyday people living everyday lives? mine was owned by a man who drove it, had a job and earned money. Im not sure how rich he was, well known his name is, or glamourous his wife was, but he cared for the car

You could try in at the Mercedes service agent on mill lane too, Scotty has been nothing short of amazing with me, he comes highly recommended, but may not be a diff specialist??
