have a read: E46 ASC info might help you nut out the issue.. reading your first post fault code descriptor maybe its a CAN fault? that site provides diagrams for you to check wiring etc..

Just note: ASC doesn't have a steering angle sensor. - only in DSC cars.

The suspension is stock Motorsport springs and shocks, just replaced recently with a “low mileage “ set.. It rides very well.

E46 (except M3) build dates up to 03/2003 got the 5speed, then went to the ZF 6speed. so some facelift sedan got Getrag 5 speeds. I believe all facelift coupes got 6 speed?? and a random FYI: if you convert to a 6speed you must update the DME to version MS430066 or MS430069 to enable the cruise control to function.

The box is the ZF S6-37BZ, genuine driveshaft. It is a very nice car. The only reason I’m selling it is that it sits in the garage most of the time, and I now have myself a coupe project..

If it still has the eject box fitted ( under arm rest) there will be a button on it with a speaking man. press and hold that button and turn key to position 1(acc), keep holding for about 5 secs, then it should go into pairing mode. - if it doesn’t have eject box - it’s a bit complicated.. contact to assist if you need.

Thanks.. I’ve been monitoring the stack for a while now, and it’s not splitting itself up and or self loading into the shed… looks like I’ll have to do it again..

Thanks for the feed back- yeah original pics are terrible. as for the conversation cert. It is NOT required as ALL parts are OE. This is confirmed with NZTA and LVVTA. If you have been given a different interpretation- unfortunately it was incorrect. Please check with NZTA.
